Nobody other than Sky appear to have unearthed this 'considering his options' stuff up. Looks likely to me. His agent leaves me worried though.

Really hope that's true.
So, let's take a step back. Do we know what the hold up is? Is it really agent's fees? SSN are supposedly reporting he's looking at other options. How can that be true? Did he fail a medical?
I'd like to know where these stories came from as the delay to the deal and the silence from Spurs is becoming deafening
And being a Spurs fan I've gone from delirious to dejected in 3 pages.

Echoing others, find it hard to believe a fee, medical and 'hand shake' with AVB can be swayed to liverpiss... The only reason I can come up is that piss play a more passing style game.

Yeah, I don't think it has anything to do with Willian. We've seen how he looked in that hotel. He's excited to be here. His agent just wants his cut and I'm sure if we are willing to break our transfer fee record (again) for him, we will at least come to an agreement with this Kia shitbird.

As a journalist I'm absolutely aware that passing on "made up" information equates to making it up yourself. The problem is, you have no idea whether the information they have been given is fabricated. My point was that people on here are far more likely to come to that conclusion if the story is negative rather than positive.
And, as you have no idea how they came by this information, you have no basis to say "they don't investigate these claims". If (and of course, this is an if) the information has come from his agent (which, let's face it, seems pretty likely) how much more forensic do you want their investigation to be? Unless you think that they can circumvent the agent and speak to Willian directly, which is never going to happen in this situation and nor would they see the need to.
Besides, whether true or false, my main point is that people need to be a bit more objective, and not base their first response to news on whether its good or bad,
