We have better central defenders than Arsenal.

I can't believe Wenger let Gallas go. Their first choice central defender has one season of PL experience, their second choice has none, their third choice has none and their fourth choice has a handful of appearances over several seasons.

We have our three best defenders out and still started with their ex captain and a young french international with several seasons of PL experience.

Gallas and Kaboul kept us in it in the first half and it was perfect justice that one of them got the winner.

He played injured for the last 10 or so minutes. That adds even more credit to what he did today. World class material.

Awesome performance today!

I hope at least one of our boys gave the little shit Nasri some fucking home truths somewhere!

I was very impressed today. And the way he gave a quick wave to our fans, then strolled off down the tunnel speaks volumes for the man. I would have fucking lauded it with the amount of abuse he was getting. That was the only time I did hear their fans during the game though!

...those noisy, ferocious Arsenal fans

Ferocious maybe, but noisy is not a word you can normally associate with Arsenal fans, they certainly aren't making any noise now.

At the final whistle he fell to his knees and looked completely drained.

And several other of our players went straight to him and congratulated him

Great performance by WG. He said he needed a few games to get back his match fitness. Now hopefully we can keep a few clean sheets.

Missed that bit! I jumped up celebrating, forgetting about my broken foot and not grabbing my crutches and promptly collapsed back down again:doh:! Great game though. Him and Younes kept we're quality today.

Absolutely gained my respect today for all time. Read the scum's game so well to intercept crucial passes and basically saved us from a drubbing. Hats off to Billy Gallas.

I've been pretty impressed with him in most games barring the odd up-fuck that came from changing CB pairings every 5 minutes but he was exceptional today and was clearly in agony the last 10 mins or so. He and Younes won that game for us and really did deserve MOM and a shout for Harry for changing the shape 2nd half and Defoe not even at 100 percent still caused them problems.

Head and shoulders my MOM. Still 3rd or even 4th choice behind Ledders, Woodie and Daws, but today he was inspirational.

I was "The" Gallas hater when he came to the Lane, but after that performance he is now a true Yiddo in my eyes.
