Winks leaving is not a bad thing - but I do not think Skipp is a top level midfielder although he may become one in time.

Ssshhhhhh...Don't tell anyone. But there is written word that Skipp is tearing it up in training, supposedly absolutely blowing the staff away with how good he is.

Person who shared info passes on in good faith. No reason to disbelieve him. Stay strong grasshopper.

Agent Farmhouse over and out.

He’s an embarrassment and prefer Sissoko but ideally they both leave ASAP
Sisssoko was very good IMO when he first came to the club and played his part . He later declined I accept and needs to move on. Winks did not play regular and his performances reflected that . I agree we need better but he’s not a bad player. He’s got more football DNA than some I can mention.

Another point, if the money was not important, I would loan winks out because he will improve, as he gets more game time and experience.

If he refuses be sold, then we should definitely look to loan him. If he feels he has what it takes, then go and show it somewhere this season and come back next season.

My expectation with him is that he will refuse to be loaned out as well.

He once showed promise and hasn’t trained on but now he’s an embarrassment

As for Sissoko when he first came he was poor due to very limited footballing expertise but he had a good season when his athleticism came to the fore but sadly his form has also deteriorated and is also an embarrassment

But I could go on
Dier and Sanchez aren’t worth their place and also need replacing

I hear Nuno fancies a back three with Doc and Reggie as wing backs
Fair enough but you need quality in the back three
We haven’t got it so he has a problem as both Reggie and Doc aren’t full backs

typical click bait no mention of any specific team: "There is interest in him from multiple Premier League clubs although the Londoners may have to adjust their expectations on the fee"

sounds like Arsenal are trying to lowball us

Skipp really adds something to our midfield unlike Winks and Sissoko.
IMO....We really dont know yet. The PL is not easy and Skipp may find it hard going. All reports suggest he's looking good. He will need to hit the ground running.

I remember saying that about Lennon, then he found another gear. If an experienced and respected coach looks at him and says he's hit the limiter and, mentally, he's not going to be able to break through that, fair enough, but someone at the time at Spurs had faith in Lennon (McDermott?) and it paid off, we got another two or three seasons of a revitalised player.

Like I say though, i'm not a coach, I can't tell if he has more in the tank but it just needs someone with the right approach or formation to unlock it, whether playing alongside a fresh face might give him more focus. No idea.

He is not worth the effort,as there's been little development from him. In addition I'm sure any new coach wants loyalty and his big mouth spouting shit to the press does not help.
As you say you are not a coach, Nuno is and he wants rid, and Jose was not in love with him either.
Appreciate the Lennon comparisons though feel we are at a different level and need more quality than what he provides.
Its usually predictable when he is on the pitch and feel that giving that spot and opportunity to someone else would be better option right now.

Yeah - I fear there is a tad too much hype being foisted upon Skipp, a little too early into his career.

Not sure what team you were watching but sissoko was absolutely terrible in his first two seasons for us. It was his third when he started to look the player we saw at Newcastle.

This also coincided with the physical decline of Mousse Dembele, which allowed Sissoko to claim a more permanent berth in central midfield.

I still wonder how much is connected to his ankle injury.

He showed good potential but when he got back from the injury there were reports that he'd always play in pain. He hasn't played well ever since.

Either way he hasn’t played well for us for over two years

Yeah some are putting far too much pressure on him to "hit the ground running", and stay at that level for basically the rest of his career cos as soon as you have a non-stellar season with spurs the fans cant wait to get rid of you.

I don’t believe football is as black and white as you are suggesting. “Quality’ what does that suggest? Did LC have quality when they won the PL.. individual can be a force within a team structure . Look at Wolves under Nuno, if he gets the same reaction with us we will be a decent side. There’s is s transmission period with Nuno but he should deliver.

But you’re talking about teams and managers
I’m talking about individual players

Winks is completely out of his depth for us and it’s frankly embarrassing

Best for him and us that he is shipped out ASAP

Of course Leicester had quality

They played to their strengths and had the players and system to do it

I agree some players are spent but too many changes may not suit us at the moment
