‘Played to their strength’ - their quality was their team togetherness with a few players performing at their very best and without distraction from other competitions. We had better quality footballers but were stretched. I agree some players need to move on because we need change. Dier is one player I feel we should keep.Of course Leicester had quality
They played to their strengths and had the players and system to do it
Yeah - I fear there is a tad too much hype being foisted upon Skipp, a little too early into his career.

Danny drinkwater.
I don’t rate Drinkwater but he did a job for Leicester as did Huth

I think that was his point. Not in the same league as Kante, who is clearly world class playing in his proper position!
Drinkwater is more like Sherwood was at Blackburn although that might be a slight disservice to Tim
Which was his point. In a system which benefitted him yes.
Which was his point.
Your original post “Danny drinkwater.“Great but it wasn't mine, see the original conversation about certain players fitting into systems hence why I mentioned the Drinkwater example.

Wasn’t much to go on.
I did. You didn’t post on page 1.I mean you could have easily scrolled back a page, that's what I do before I jump to any conclusions...

I feel he is a decent player who just lacks fitness. Better players with pace at CB would suit him also. I would give him another season with the new changes happening.Yes that’s what I meant and their strength was their team togetherness
Why would you like to keep Dier?
I really don’t rate him
He hasno positional sense , ball watches instead of picking up a player’s run and has a bad attitude
My emphasis on a team structure is that when it works players as Dyer can come into his own. Dire as a standalone player does struggle a little but we could see better from him in a good team formation. If you start comparing Dyer to top centre backs in the world he is nowhere near but it doesn’t mean he’s not good enough for us if we get our act together as a team.Yes that’s what I meant and their strength was their team togetherness
