No Kane absolutely wasn’t a gooner - he’s always been Spurs and his family are big Spurs fans.
I mean he quite literally was a gooner, he played for them. There's also a picture of him wearing an Arsenal shirt. I doubt you can find pictures of any other Spurs fans wearing Arsenal shirts in their younger days.

I don't have an issue with it, he was young and was playing at youth level for them, then they let him go from their academy and he joined Spurs and the rest is history.

But there's no way you can tell me that on the day this picture was taken if you asked that young Harry who he supported he would have said anything other than Arsenal.

I can tell you wholeheartedly he’s always been spurs - don’t fall into the trap Gooners would lead you to believe. At that time he was in their academy and all academy players through the age groups were invited to join the parade and feel what it would be like to experience being a champion.

I know one of his former youth team coaches who has been a friend of the Kane family ever since. He’s also a spurs fan and was a regular in the Kane box at the stadium before he left.

Now that we are seemingly keen on SIJ I’m not sure it’s so relevant, assuming we want him to play LB, but Brighton seem to be in pole position to get Argentinian 19 year old LB/WB Valentin Barco for only $10 mil (his release clause). I’m surprised as I thought he was pretty much set for City. He was someone I thought we should go for as a rotation option for Udogie. Incredible dribbler, fast, tenacious, eye for a pass… he’s essentially an attacking midfielder who plays LB. Be very interested to see how he does at Brighton because he looks an extremely exciting player. He’s considered one of the brightest talents in the league. For those curious it’s worth giving him a quick google.
Wow, that will be some incredible depth to have at LB along with Estupinan

Kane has said before that that picture is from the PL victory parade when he was in their academy. He's not just turned up somewhere in it, he's representing the club at a club event.

Godfrey Kelly and Tosin are all average and not good enough if we are serious about challenging for trophies

Get either Guehi or Btandthwaite ,none of this 'who wants to come and sit on the bench behind Kane' bollocks again

3 good Centerbacks, there are plenty of games to go around if we make Europe +Dorrington and sell Dier/Davies

Santos are currently 45 mins from getting relegated.

So Marcos Leonardo may not be as expensive as last summer.

I've read a couple of interview with him (Samuel Iling) in later years and he's often talking about he beeing an arsenal fan and that he would like to play for them.

From interview with the Athletic

Still only 19, it must feel like only yesterday Iling-Junior was playing on the Park View estate in north London. “I’m a Highbury boy,” he beams

Makes me a bit sceptic if theese links a true

Hard enough getting players these days in windows. If we narrow it down to players that don’t support fellow clubs but do support spurs? Be thin as Fck 😂

Its my boys birthday today so I can’t hang about on here to long so will be super brief. Claudio Echeverri is considered probably one of the most exciting young talents in Argentina atm. Ironically I was going to write a post about him as one to watch for the future due to his U17 WC showing but got sidetracked. He’s already been touted as the new Messi. I know that gets bandied around a lot but this kid really does look special. Only 17 and only just breaking into the first team but in Argentina they think he’s a possible generational talent. He’s a true Argentinian AMC. I will be gobsmacked if he came here. I know City are supposedly very interested. Essentially if we got him it would be a big coup as a lot of teams are watching him. Anyway the source is questionable at best but it’s worth posting just because in general all three are players we should be keeping an eye on.

i guess the positive of coming to us is we have a few argies already who could help them settle. Good we are trying for this level of talent though.

I would agree, but why would they want to come and sit on the bench?

I actually rate Kelly, he really suits our way of playing and can cover left back.
