We need 2 CMs, but the quality we need won't be available next window.

If possible, it would be wise to buy them for next season like Liverpool did with Keita

I think Rabiot is available seeing as he will only have 6 months left on his contract then, however unlikely he'd want to come to us but at the very least we should try.

Sander Berge as CM cover would also be good

I'm not sure who the solution is but we are crying out for a Modric style player that can take the ball off the defence under pressure and play nice straight forward passed into the front 3/4 players at pace. Probably just earlier season form but Dembele looks less than half the player we have seen previously and Dier seems absent at present.

Winks is showing sparks of ability and I think he will play himself through but we need some options and natural talent in there.

Frenkie De Jong

Edit: Not sure why this got funny or optimistic ratings as I am just stating that the player he is describing is De Jong not that we are signing him

Whilst it is unlikely that we'd be bidding for Milinkovic-Savic, let alone actually being able to do a deal for him in January, it is weird that he ended up staying at Lazio in the summer IMO.

I can only assume that Lazio simply priced him out of a move with their sky high valuation. Think there were quotes from Lazio chairman saying 100m+. They're not in CL and really don't have anyone else worth mentioning in terms of other star players. Felipe Anderson was their other big name and we all know where he ended up. I think he's primed for a move next summer if he keeps playing at a high level and it's not out of the question for us to be in the mix.

We're certainly a big enough club for him to want to come and play here, the only potential issue is the fee.

Beyond him I think Rabiot is worth trying for. Free next summer right?
N'Dombele looks class but it may be hard to deal with Aulas for him. He's part of the #LevyOut brigade.

I'd personally like us to look seriously at left back. Davies has been very poor this season and has always been a bit limited. Rose looks to be returning to form but is always a risk in terms of injuries. I feel it's time to go out and find a good quality LB. I would say Luke Shaw on a free next summer but then we'd be playing russian roulette with the fitness of our LB's week to week. Chilwell would be a decent shout, as would Tierney from Celtic.

Grimaldo or Telles would be ideal. And possibly Phillip Max.

I'm still holding out for Ryan Sessegnon, I wonder if all the nfl business will make fulham difficult to negotiate with but Sessegnon hasn't set the world alight so far and their results haven't been good yet so maybe in the summer there's a deal there.

Always had a feeling that Rabiot will end up at Juventus, although Barcelona are apparently interested.
SMS is pure fantasy land.

Article the other day saying we were contemplating a cut price £10m move for Tierney, as Celtic May need to raise money as they missed CL this year...seems Levy-ish...can also play CB in a back 3, as he does that for Scotland, with Robertson at LB so it seems Poch-ish.

Could be a shrewd move...or Shaw at Utd, however will be difficult with how things unfold there!

I'd personally love to do a 2 in, 2 out deal. Shaw on a free and then Telles or Tierney. Optomistic of course and likely little to no chance. Just think Rose isn't going to be the same and we need a better player than Davies if he's going to get significant minutes.

Wouldn't mind us picking up current Porto captain Hector Herrera in January, as he'll have six months remaining on his contract then. Can play as a CM/DM, aggressive player with a great passing range. Some sites claim we've sent scouts to watch him play for Porto.

We'll end up with guys nobody has ever heard of. Whilst it's nice to have a wishlist, our club tends to avoid going after known commodities, with some obvious exceptions
