Following up on what I mentioned before regarding selling Toby and replacing him with a back up/rotation option for Jan. We should be keeping close tabs on Espanyol's 22 year old Mario Hermanos. He comes from RMs youth set up and has been excellent so far this season. Espanyol have been very good this season, they are currently 5th. The kid is left footed and very quick. He’s also scored twice this season, although that doesn’t really matter. I think him and Ake would be very good options, I would imagine Mario wouldn’t be too expensive although I’m sure he will get picked up by the big boys end of season as per usual. Certainly one to keep an eye on.
Those lower Spanish teams never hold people for ransom. It is our ideal shopping market and we've ignored it ever since we bought Soldado, thats crazy.

Leverkusen hammered 4-1 at home by Hoffenheim. We should be all over their situation, so much talent there that would fit our needs.

Problem is outside of Tah, most of their big talents are in the attacking midfield which is one of our strongest positions on the team.

I said it in the "major surgery" thread and I'll say it again. Trippier, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele, and Sissoko (despite his good performances recently) out.

KWP promoted and a LB, CM, and DM in.

This all needs to happen between now and the beginning of next season, we need to try to get as much of it done as possible in January.

With our injuries and condition of our senior FBs, any amount short of 200 million wouldn't solve our problems. Will Levy open his purse?

We desperately need to upgrade both full back positions, Rose can’t stay fit, Davies looks like he’s towing a caravan, I’m not sure who’s out there who we could bring in at LB? I really like Chilwell at Leicester but he’s just signed a new contract. Trippier on the other side is an abolsute calamity in a back 4. Sold Foyth up shit creek tonight big time, really feel for the lad.

As for CM would love Ndombele but looks like we’ve got as much chance of signing him as I have getting a nosh of Michelle Keegan tonight.

I know everyone will be clamouring for Brandt and Bailey and I pull hardly say no, but I would love to get Havertz. By now and loan back. He looks like a serious talent and we need a Eriksen understudy. On a side note, Arsenal’s on loan youngster Reiss Nelson seems to be the real deal, scored a wondergoal for Hoffenheim. He’s been very good this season.

Telles, Grimaldo and Tierney would be my list. In that order probably too.

Telles would be great, even tho he was really unimpressive when at Inter. I think I would probably like Chillwell most followed closely by Ferland Mendy. Reason for Chillwell is that he is young, quick, promassing and HG. And I would rather use our HG spots further up the pitch if we can help it. Obviously, as said, contract situation would be an issue. Beyond that, Mendy should be our next pick.

Forgot about Mendy, he'd be up there as well. Can't imagine Leicester selling us Chillwell.

He probably would but for like 30/40+ mil. Is he worth it... maybe, not sure. The market is crazy and he’s young. Depends how much we value him. Full backs are tricky things. Having home grown is ideal if it can be helped. It’s why i want us to get Declan Rice. I would rather look abroad for our attacking players as they tend to have more technical ability at a cheaper price. For example, if Lozano or Ziyech were English they would cost 60 + mil, and those are two quite well known examples.

Certainly is ideal, realistic is the issue. Outside of Chillwell I struggle to find anyone who would be required quality.

In an ideal world we could pluck King or Wilson off Bournemouth for HG backup forward, and have 1 HG backup GK. We've got I think 7 non HGs we need to get rid of so I'm not overly concerned about balancing the numbers.

Ha, i guess if we want to bring the word realistic into the conversation then we should probably start looking at the free transfer market if Levy is envolved. Even tho agent fees would probably make him balk. Wilson and King are good ideas but both are 26, I’m not sure they would move to a team at this stage of their career to play second fiddle to Kane. Maybe, maybe not, depends on their personalities. Personaly I think we should look young, someone who is keen to learn but also has the ability to play alone or in tandem with Kane. The one thing Kane’s new tendency to drop deep has shown is he is probably ready to have a strike partner. As mentioned before, what City have with Aguero and Jesus is what we should have. Obviously the down side to that is we may need to look abroad. I know I keep banging on about him and we have probably missed the boat, but Genoa’s Piatek would be my choice, he’s 23 and still learning his game but has all the tools to be a fantastic CF in any league. He’s very clever and will take over the striker mantle from Lewandowski for Poland in due course I’m sure. If he makes the right moves. But even if not him, there are many other young forwards we could be looking at.
