With hindsight who could we have bought thats better

watching us attack the last few games I wondered who we could have bought with the bale money thats better and probably cheaper than we paid. Apart from chadli and maybe erikson the rest seem like we massivley overpaid. Lamela may still come good but paulinio,soldado and vlad seem average at best. I would have gone for Milner, lescott,bony and ivanovic. Easy after the event i know but ffs the badini must have really rated these players and he s really screwed up

I'm going to treat it with all the respect it deserves we should have signed Iniesta, Busquets, Abidal, Pedro, Puyol and if there was anything left over then we should have got Xavi as a back up to Scott Parker

At the time, I wouldn't have bought Soldado, Lamela, Chadli, or Paulinho.

Would have bought Ljajic, Benteke, Shaw, and Badelj. In hindsight, Badelj may have not been for the best because I'm not sure he's quick enough for the Prem. RW may have eventually not worked out, but I still think we'd have been more balanced because I think left wing was a far bigger problem at the time anyway. All in all though, I'm convinced my acquisitions would have turned out much better.
