I think that's the best lineup we could field right now tbh. I think we've going to be a long way off our fluid best in attack, that's only going to be natural so the front three are going to have to do a lot today.

Given how brave our philosophy and football has been this season - I will admit to being a bit disappointed that we have gone for a really conservative midfield solution and shoehorned players into defence rather than trying some youngsters

Young bench there, Bentancur, Lo Celso and Gil likely to come in at some point

That is a very defensive 11 but I get it. Just worried about a complete lack of creativity in midfield.

Agree. I get why he’s gone with Hojberg because he has done well whenever he’s coming on for us this season. But personally I would have liked Lo Celso to start.

Disappointed in that midfield 3 but not that surprised. Not really sure why we kept Lo Celso if we aren’t going to play him when Maddison is out.
I just don't think he trusts Lo Celso to start.

That being said he needs to make much more of an impact than he has shown.

Anyone thinking Lo Celso was the answer is mental. Would love if he proved me wrong and came on to be the spark we need while Madders is out but he just doesn't have it.

No Le Celso, think he will go in January now
Yeah if he wasn’t starting today he isn’t going to be starting to many more, only think to consider maybe is that with our defence being as it is, we look more solid in central
Midfield to compensate

He's gone for experience with solidity.

I get it.

Some good options on the bench at least
