I don't get what all the fuss is about re Loftus Cheek.

It's 30 mins of one game with a scratch team that haven't played together before. You could probably say that about lots of the players on that criteria.

I'm expecting Robbie Williams and Olly Murs to come on soon. Feels like fucking soccer aid

Would like to see a front 3 of Kane, Vardy and Rashford with Kane dropping deep and those two running past.

You look at Delph, and Sterling, and you realise Guardiola's strength as a coach, in that he tailors each player to their particular strength to get the best out of them.

In any normal team, asked to play a conventional role, they're really not up to scratch.

Boring as you guys point out but I've got such a vested interest due to the spurs players.

Rose, in a game with less attack opp, proving to be the better attacking option. Good lad

What? I've watched him plenty of times before

Only issue so far has been we’re trying too many 30-yard balls over the top rather than building the play. Must be part of the game plan trying to get Vardy in behind their defence

You press Dier.. He struggles due to his lack of mobility and agility in the centre of the park. You give time to him like against Chelsea and he can look like Pirlo... He is a centre back and always will be.

I don't rate him at centre back, lacks the positional awareness. He's got a similar problem to David Luiz (albeit different skill set), in that he's a talented footballer that can't find a solid position that truly works for him. Dier's best employed as a DM alongside a busy midfielder who will do the running.

Edit: He works well in a back 3 though, because there's less pressure on him. Just not in a 2 man CB pairing.
