Stress every time Kane steps up to take another penalty thinking maybe just maybe he will finally miss one, especially with how long the gap between the foul and the pens have been. Balls of steal, such a brilliant leader. This teams belief and fight has been been so good to see.
Same. I fear he's scored too many and the run will end, but it hasn't so far and he's got nerves of steel. You want a captain, here's your captain. He's magic.

Well done England, but Colombia should now have the book thrown at them and face retrospective action for their disgraceful thuggery, cheating, scuffing up the penalty box, harassing the ref and having official staff members deliberately barging into our players off the pitch. That sort of disgusting behaviour has no place in football, especially on the world's biggest stage.
Shame it will be up to a spineless and corrupt FIFA organisation to do anything about it ?
That's just typical South American football, can u imagine what an England Uruguay final would be like, wouldn't be for the faint hearted

I was convinced Kane would miss his pen, he must have had total jelly legs lol. He's got some kind of mentality
No, no you've got it all wrong. The Tottenham players are to young, not used to winning anything. They are not strong enough mentally. I'm just happy England's still got a player like that Henderson, for instance.

Well done Gareth.

The guy didn't even want the job originally, no one eye wanted him in the job, but he's got us to the quarter finals.

Whatever happens now, I actually want Southgate to stay in charge of England for the long term. Been impressed with him during this WC and with the spirit he's built within the squad.

Harry Kane has scored six goals in his first three World Cup appearances for England – only three players have scored more in their first three matches; Hungary’s Sandor Kocsis (9), Germany’s Gerd Muller (7) and Argentina’s Guillermo Stabile (7).

get in there, the only player on the Columbia team even if there was a small incident with Harry was our Sanchez that didn't get up to filthy tackles. They should of been down to 9 men, so justice was done :)

Ospina wasn’t too bad too.

As a Sweed I obviously hope we win but hopefully Kane scores three goals as long as we score 4. I want him to win the golden boot so badly.

But harry scored 2 - so 4/5 goals were spurs?

in the game then yeah, harry did score twice

But in the Shootout it was Harry, Tripps and Dier from Spurs who scored, with Rashford scoring the other and Henderson missing

*Edit* apologies, misunderstood your original post, thought you were only talking about the shootout

It may turn out that the best tactical move Southgate made - so far - was to play the "reserves" vs Belgium and lose. Looking at the "other" quater-finalists (Belgium, Brazil, France, Urugay) vs Croatia, England, Russia and Sweden... I know which "batch" I would prefer...

Well what would you prefer, QF against Brazil or Sweden?
