Special word for Tripps who has really surprised me this competition. Shown great maturity and has easily been one of our best players so far.

Been Englands best player so far as far as consistency is concerned and from the games I have seen(most of them) is nailed on for the team of the tournament at RB.

I thought England were far superior, looked a really good side... Although we could still do with better quality in the final third. A lot of possession given away. Colombia were an utter disgrace to the game. A braver ref would have sent off at least one of them for that absurd bullshit after the penalty decision.

joint most goals in a world cup for england too with oddly enough another spurs player. lineker. Funny that. How many arsenal players ever scored for england in world cup finals? i'm scratching my head to think of any ... i'm sure someone will come up with someone from 1950 or something.

Can we not rise above this rubbish for one night? Tonight is about England, not scoring some pathetic point over your mug mates on Twitter. So small time, we should be better than that.

Still loving this. The relief to win a penalty shootout.

The confidence these players must be feeling right now will be huge, get back on the training pitch and work on Sweden, will be a very tight game. At least they won’t resort to dirty tactics, they will just resort to parking up and hitting us on the counter.

Maguire was mom for me. Had a fkin huge game.
Trips has been brilliant. Top player. Must piss Walker right off that he left that spot at Spurs for better things and his fkin replacement took his spot in England team lol. I like to think so anyway lol.
Side note, ref wasnt strong enough for that game. Got well out of control for Kanes pen. How the fk they finished with 11 players I'll never know.
