CR really should be 1-0 up at half time. What the fuck is wrong with Brazil!
It's encouraging to me as an England fan that other teams seem to have their shortfalls. England are in no way complete, but were written off doing well in the WC before they even qualified whereas teams like Germany and Brazil have been talked about as almost certainties to get to the latter stages. It may all change, but it certainly gives me more hope.

Have Costa Rica heard of offside. Their forwards keep running hilariously offside, instead of holding their runs.

I know they're doing all they can just to get in Brazil's third, but they are woeful when they do. They've had a good few opportunities if you ask me.

Agree with you. If England had a world class CM I think they'd go a long way. Actually even a decent passer in there, like Carrick during his peak years (not now obviously) would make a such a difference.

TBH I haven't been impressed by many of the big guns in the tournament. Croatia last night were good and Belgium in the 2nd half of their game were not bad albeit against weak opposition.

I’ve said before Henderson is basically a knock off Carrick. If we had peak Carrick I’d fancy us to go far, based on the evidence so far.

Oh FFS.

It just so sums up Neymar's attitude that he'd rather go down like a wimp and win a penalty than take a shot with a huge scoring chance.

No penalty!!!!! Brilliant VAR-ing.
