He's alright according to Solbakken. Rolled his ankle just before half time but just a bit sore and might still start Saturday against Turkey. He's just been named captain so if he wasn't already guaranteed to start if fit he certainly is now.

The pitch in Gibraltar was terrible, 4G astroturf but they didn't water it so it was dry and slow and a serious injury hazard. Thankfully Ødegaard was the only one who got hurt.

Looking at their starting XI yesterday there's only four decent players there - de Ligt, de Jong, Wijnaldum and Depay. The rest is either mediocre/poor or young and unproven like Malen.

They really are there for the taking right now, both Turkey and Norway will be thinking they have a real chance of topping the group.

Norway will finish third because that's what they do. But they will have hope.
