Busquets has to be the most under rated player in world football and is a vital cog in the Barcelona machine.

Absolutely. A lot of people, particularly in the UK, just focus on his playacting though.

He totally understands his role and what he has to do and just sticks to it. Always in the right position, whether that is to break up play or to be the one that the ball goes through. He is very good with the ball at his feet, that often gets overlooked.

Buffon
Invanovic Hummels Chiellini
Sandro Yaya Vidal
Mata Iniesta C. Ronaldo
Messi

Wanted Falcao in there but wasn't sure to drop Mata or Iniesta as wanted 3 strong CMs in fron of my back 3. Change Ivanovic for Pique too. So maybe: -

Buffon
Pique Hummels Chiellini
Sandro Yaya Vidal
Messi Iniesta C. Ronaldo
Falcao

Iker has declined as a goalkeeper, I think that's the reason why Jose is singling him out like no one else has before.

TBH he is very good but I wouldnt call him the best in that position, even in spain barca fans preferred Yaya and for Spain it seems he people prefer xabi if it has to be one of the two good player but his playacting is pathetic and agree with the first statement
Hahaha what???!

He has been really poor lately, a couple years back Spain claimed to have the best pool of world class keepers and now Casillas, Valdes, Reina and De Gea all seem to be suffering poor form atm

De Gea is doing ok, the media are just waiting for him to make a mistake.

I think I read that Reina doesn't have a goalkeeper coach at Liverpool which seems weird.

He has improved over the years but I've never rated Valdes.

I remember when Capello went back to Madrid, he wanted to make Lopez his first choice because he thought he commanded the box (etc) better.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Iker is fit because Lopez isn't a backup.

Depends what you want in your team though, my line up I'd rather have him because he is a bit more positionally aware and breaks up play better. And with Xavi and Iniesta already in there (I think Alonso competes with these two more than anything) makes sense to just put the whole unit it!

-------------Buffon--------------
Lahm Hummels Silva Alba (would be Cole normally but think he hasn't been as good this year)
--------Pirlo --- Vidal-----------
Reus ------------------ Ronaldo
----Falcao -------- Messi-------

Hard to leave out Iniesta, van Persie, Chiellini etc, but these are just some of my favourite players right now.

Watch what happens with Casillas their could be a very surprise destination if Mourinho is there still next season. His buyout clause may get triggered.

To be honest, Neuer and Busquets or Alonso or Martinez probably deserve to be in there but I had to include a couple Spurs players.

Barzagli. Seriously underrated defender.

Anybody who's regularly watched Juve since he's been there will tell you what an absolute beast of a CB he is.

He is, however Chiellini is even better imo and possibly the best defender in the world at this moment.
