What a great article.I hate it. But its a great article. But i hate the bigging up. But yeah great article. But we will normally lose when we feel good about ourselves. All the same, its a great positive article. But you know what happens when we're positive.

Thats how i feel right now. Mixed feelings. Excited but Butterflies. Ecstatic butWorried. Cant wait but haunting memories.

The life of a spurs fan. Arrrgghhhhh

It'll be one of those penalty and red card against us within the first three minutes games, wont it? With Bravo saving them with a series of match winning saves.

I'm feeling confident - if we continue to play in the way we have been over the last few weeks we will beat then convincingly.

We have to be very careful that we don't get cocky, confident is ok, cocky is bad, City still have a very talented squad and they are capable of beating anyone on their day.

I seem to be saying this every week now but this is a massive game for us, make no mistake about it, with this win we effectively cut City out of the title race completely and position ourselves excellently for the run in, if we can manage to beat Liverpool in feb or even get a draw at Anfield then I think we will be in pole position to challenge Chelsea.

I really want us to beat Liverpool, I think I would vomit if they managed to beat us, a loss against City I can handle but I can't handle the idea of Liverpool knocking us out of the race for the title and watching everyone wank themselves silly over Liverpool.

I think if it's between us and Chelsea the nation will get behind us, especially given it's out last season at the lane and we are full of young English talent going up against the money bag team.

I would include Arsenal in the title race but I can't bring myself to say it.

The Liverpool narrative will be unstoppable.

It only matters that we supports, I dont give a shit about any neutrals or any other supporters supporting us. Chelsea certainly dont give a shit about the nation supporting them.

Dealing with being favourites in these big matches is the next step for our team. We have slowly built an environment at the club were we are consistently a top 4-5 team. We have won a lot of big games in recent years against the odds. We now have to become comfortable with increased expectations and go out and win these big games when we are being hyped up to do so.

That's what the Liverpool of the 70's-80's, Utd of the 90's and Jose's Chelsea did when they were winning titles. In short it's what winners do.

Audere est Facere.

Exactly. We can't be expected to win things and be an underdog the same time. Being in the spotlight is much harder and we got a taste of that last season, and in some ways failed accordingly because we are not there yet.

Whatever the result be tomorrow, I'll take it if we play a good game.

beating west brom means fuck all if we get turned over tomorrow. The same thing I'll say every week. Don't get too excited, carry on doing what we are and we can celebrate in May

Without doubt a big game but by no means one that will define our season. As Chelsea have already shown after their early losses it only takes a run of form to turn things around.

Quietly confident the team will give them a challenge and hoping for three points. If not they should have a long hard look at themselves. Apparently

I have heard this so many times before, i.e. the oppont being weakened by poor form, injuries etc....and yet Spurs lose. In the past it was either Henry out injured or Ronaldo or Rooney out injured...but it didn't help the result in Spurs' favour. The most recent glarding example was last season's last game vs Newcastle, a team that had nothing to play for and had a player sent off in the first half. We all know how that one ended.
Everton had 4 shoots during that whole game (they won 4-0) - and all went in. They did not out-play ManC at all.
ManC are still capable of beating any team, particularly at home. They're still a top team in Europe.
Being confident is good but being overly confident and cocky isn't. It's an open game and even a draw isn't necessarily a bad result.

Nope, we do it to ourselves. That's why I'm proud to be a Spurs fan, we can fuck ourselves over without meeja help.

Radio head definitely sang that song about us

I had a dream last night that we were 1 0 down after five minutes and towards half time they scored twice in the 54th minute and 56th minute... Stoppage time due to injury to Toby

I also recall Jesus had a wayward shot aiming for the top corner

I also recall this was being played at Bournemouth... Cos of those stupid vitality ads. That's when I woke up and hit the gym at 7.30am
