I had a really strange dream last night.

Safe to say it circled entirely around the events of tonights game (yes - i'm sad, but it's so daunting)

Anyway, by the end of the game, the crowd roared and were joyous, but disappointed at the same time.

It ended Spurs 3 Real Madrid 0

So my question is, would you take a 3-0 win tonight?

If we play well and give it our all, I'll take whatever result we end up with.

3-0? I'd certainly take that.

I think I would, yeah

Utlimately it would be a good barometer of the comfidence and ability of the squad, and would leave us in good stead for the remainder of the season

Absolutely, as that means we gave it our all and at least went out in style. We could very easily get turned over again tonight so id definitely take 3 0 meaning a bit of pride had been restored

Respectable performance and a better aggregate goal deficit than Chelski and the Arse in their knockouts. I'd take it.

Would sooner take a 4-0 win and an extra-time winner from Bale :)

3-0 against the second best side in the world (in my opinion) would be fantastic.

Anything that gives the players an extra boost in confidence in advance of the Arsenal game. 3-0 vs Madrid would certainly do that, so I voted yes.

If we were to win 3-0, the knee jerking post mortem in here would be almost unbearable.

Why didn't Harry do this?
Why didn't Harry do that?
So and so is shit because he missed a chance
So and so is shit because he didn't do this
So and so is shit because he didn't do that
Dawson is shit because they almost scored
If it wasn't for Crouch last week we'd have gone through
Crouch is a ****
Jenas is shit because he's shit
How much does Adebayor's mum charge then?

SC would be carnage

I've never really gotten over us beating Benfica at home back in 1962 but losing on aggregate (when we should have had a penalty that wasn't given) and not reaching the European Cup Final.

The agony of the disappointment of being so very close to such amazing glory stayed with me long after I went home from the game sobbing my heart out.

I have to vote no because of that and because I desperately want us to play well enough tonight to get through, rather than fizzle out having played well but not well enough.

Winning 3-0 would be a hollow victory for me.

No, If we get that close I will be incredibly dissapointed we didn't at least force extra time (unless one or more of the goals is scored at the final whistle).

Wow, someone on here IS talking sense this morning.

I would rest anyone that has a niggle.

4-4-2 with players playing in positions that they play in.

We don't want any injuries from what effectively is a friendly.

So basically, would you take going out? No. I think it can be done tonight. Obviously a huge task, but stranger things have happened....Ok, maybe not, but still, it's only impossible when we all stop believing.

The most important thing tonight is that we stay on our feet.

I would be very happy with a 3-0 win. As others have said 4,5,6 would be better, but not better than getting another 4-0 defeat.

It would leave us exiting the competition on a high and hopefully this could be taken into the next couple of league games.

Prefer 4-0 or 5-0 it goes without saying but yes I would bank a 3-0, we would go out but we would go out in style.

every time - a win against Madrid will be special

I am 100% confident we'll win tonight but not qualify
