It's an article of clothing to keep him warm outside Trix. He's not on a construction site needing PPE or in a bank. Each place of work has their ideals of dress, sure. But being at a football match in the bitter cold, I think we should allow him that right? His jacket doesn't stop him coaching and his players seem to like him anyway.

He's one of the best managers in this country outside of the Premier League. It's all part of an act to help down play the club. It's a pretty obvious ruse. Based on their financials they should of been fighting off relegation in division 1 last year but instead lead it for most of the season. Sure the football isn't the best but he is over achieving massively. Him getting Wycombe promoted to the championship last season was the greatest achievement in British football that season. But yeah because he's got long hair and leather jacket he must be shit. Sums up some people.

Need more clarification on what you mean by quiet stuff. Imo if he wasn't homegrown he'd be getting far more stick than he already does. I don't mind him as a squad player but for him to be complaining about minutes is laughable. He's the weakest of our current bunch imo.

The recycling that Carrick used to do better ?. The positional stuff. But mainly just keeping possession and keeping the ball moving and the angles changing.

I think this is about our lack of CM squad options right now more than anything else. It's where we are right now. Needs to be fixed. If we had a Carrick in our squad, then we wouldn't be having this discussion. There is little comparison between Carrick and Winks in practically every feature and quality of their game. It's not even close.

I'm sure Jose knows that and is giving Winks props because he gives us something important right now, especially in terms of rotation in CM.
