How can someone not be happy on 200k a week? This is why a part of me hates football.

And I'm starting to get fed up with yaya constantly going to the press and claiming racism about everything, doing my fucking head in.

And now with this story coming out it proves the guy is a fucking moron of the highest order.

He was bleating recently about not being appreciated enough because he's from Africa.
Then he whinged about not being voted footballer of the year.

Which was totally pathetic.

He was in the team of the season, and was voted City's player of the season.

That's about right. He's no Messi or Ronaldo. When he's scoring 40-70 goals a season and doesn't get recognized, then he can bleat.

The problem with Yaya moaning about not being player of the season is that he wasn't the best player of the season, even in the premier league. It's hardly as if Suarez was given an east ride either.

How unprofessional. He should look at past midfielders in the prem and their sheer class of professionalism. One of the most iconic midfielders of the PL, Tim Sherwood, captain and led Blackburn to the title. How deep this league has sunk into mediocrity. As the man himself would say, "Goodbye Charlie"

Because ultimately money never makes you happy. Not having it can make you unhappy, but wealth at that degree is not the driving factor towards a person's happiness.

In Fact recognition in your field, achievements, etc... those mean much more.

I am not defending Yaya here, but comments about wealth and why aren't they happy are unfortunately very wide of the mark.

I agree. I think it's just a sad ego thing with the players and at this level it's the agents pursuing more money to line their own pockets. Unfortunately, most players just hand the keys to their career to the agents and let them get on with it and this is the end result.

Its truly pathetic.

Just another example of how detached from reality some of these guys are.

So apparently the only way City can apease him is by offering him a job for life......
What an absolute c**t.
Seems he thinks he is the Zidane of his generation and that City should acknowledge that by guaranteeing him a coaching role at the club.
Statistically he was indeed the best attacking midfielder in Europe this season, but even so, there were better players overall.

I don't know why City should offer him a coaching job when he's already stated that he's thinking about moving clubs.

Interesting that he named one of his kids after his agent - shows how close they are.

Interview with the agent is on BBC. I'm sure it's a windup

Incredible shots to goals ratio, especially considering he scored 20 too

I heard them talking about it on sunday supplement and I can understand why he wants to leave tbh.

The thing is, his agent made him look like a joke by coming out with the birthday which was one of the issues he had

I think he probably wanted to leave, for whatever reason, and tasked his agent with finding a good reason for wanting to leave (cause let's face it, unless he forces a move, people wont be able to afford him). Problem being that the birthday excuse is a terrible one

He has just come out and said it would be an honour to play for PSG
An honour for his wallet, most definitely.

This is my take on it too. His agent completely messed it up for him.
