It's a "negotiating position" :p Levy will probably try to make him pay us!

The more I think of it, the more sense it makes. We should be all over that....If Dembele leaves he could be the experience we need in the middle of the park in certain games, or at certain situations (last 20 minutes, etc etc) plus he takes awesome free kicks!

No doubt people will scoff, not that it's a believable story. However, let's have a few minutes in the land of make-believe and pretend its legit.

Proven winner, point to prove, cheap.

Moving anywhere with such stupid demands would literally mean he'd be a whole new level of stupid if he 1: didn't perform... And 2: caused trouble.

Remember, we're pretending his agents words are genuine. He'd play for £1 per week, with bonus incentives. The only way he makes money is to not cause trouble, and do exactly what his agent claims he wants to do, ie prove Pep wrong. The only way he proves Pep wrong? Tear the league to shit.

So, IF he's not past it (as his agent says in the article) and IF the clubs mentioned in the article are / would be interested, namely Arseanal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpoo, I can see how each and every one of those clubs could benefit from a 1 year risk of this make-believe signing. Especially the likes of ourselves and Liverpoo, who have such young squads with players who could benefit from such a player being around, IF he knuckled down.

Onions.

Isn't minimum wage £7+ an hour? Give it a month and he'll be demanding that. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

LOL that anyone would actually advocate we should do this. He's literally accusing Pep of being racist right now. Why on earth would we want him around this club? He's completely past it and would be horrible in a pressing team.

For just £1 a week, you too could sponsor a downtrodden, unappreciated footballer. Please, give generously.

Classic spurs signing of yesteryear

An old past it dried up husk hand me down from a top side. Which probably means West Ham bound

We could sign him and just play him in the last 10 minutes against City. If we're losing anyway we might as well take out some of their players without risking any of our first team getting a ban .
