This was my favourite part of this legendaryily awful post.

You've never seen him play - how do you know his pace is scary?

Also, brilliantly, £9m? We've got him for fuck all

The 9 mill part was there for a player I deleted

And I've watched Pedroza on YouTube and he is flying!!

I'm going to be as realistic as possible

In

Vidal
Samba
Damiao
Vucinic
Diarra
Shaqiri
Coulabily

Out

Keane
Defoe/Pav
Crouch
Hutton
Gio
Bentley
Jenas

LoL, we are going to sign maximum two players this window, probably strikers and we already signed the mexican hybrid.

dont see us doing much business in the outs section either :)

Well it's not a prediction, is it? It's a perfect window :)

At best were looking at a couple of players tops right now and many linked are unlikely, I can hope for them but they just won't happen.

-------------------Friedel--------------
Walker----Dawson-----King-----Benny A&E
-------------------Sandro
Lennon----Modric-------VDV---------Bale
-------------------Vucinic

We may go for the likes of Aguero & Rossi but be turned down. I think we will leave it too late and go for Llorente but be turned down by the club before even talking to the player due to the stage we leave it.

Vucinic will sign for around £15m and flop. Although it is true he is played out of position he finds it hard to adapt to new roles and even in his favoured CF position he won't gel quickly with the squad and will return around 15 goals in all competitions.

Other signings will be: Samba, Granero & Marin. Marin being the only real signing of note.

I'm not confident of a positive window clearly.

Keane and Crouch would be my choices to go too. Ideally we'd replace them all but that's obviously not happening, think I marginally prefer Pav to Defoe.

I'd love it if we could sell all four. Crouch is the only one I can see Harry keeping though.

I'm more interested to see how we will line up (formation) this season.

Yea, but that's just it. Your post implies that we look at this in terms of "who is available". But a payable transfer fee isn't the only hurdle. We then have wages, the desire from the player to play for us and competition from CL mainstay clubs.

I think all players would play for us as their isn't any serious interest in them bar rossi and juve,

Rossi has said he wants 85,000 a week, but a good club would negotiate that down otherwise you get a situation like Utaka being payed 80,000 a week at pompey

Marin's wouldn't ask for big wages imo, as he hasn't had a great season and isn't on big big money atm

Benzema - like I said the only way he would come to us is if Real signed another striker and he was still there with a couple of days till the end of the window and Real hadn't sold the 5 players they need to(Unlikely), then we could just get Real to pay his wages like they pay VDV's

Crouch is our most reliable in Europe and Pav is our most reliable in the PL.

So what is you jusitification in keeping Defoe?
If we play kids in the Europa league he is not needed then

Never mentioned selling Pav.

Crouch is fucking hopeless and will probably struggle in the Europa League, so see no justification in keeping him.

Yeah the Europa League is a much higher standard than the Champions League, you're right he'll probably struggle in that.

Fuck me, you are a bitter old man when it comes to Crouch.

Unlikely that we are going to sign only two...since we've already signed 3 (Friedel, Pedroza and Ceballos).

I'd love Mata, Vidal, Vucinic, Adebayor and Coulibaly. I'm sure it won't happen but that would be pretty sweet.

Ideally I'd like Messi et al

But if we're sticking to realistic targets...

In:

-Marin (good cover for pretty much all midfield attacking positions)

-Parker (hard-working, box to box player and most importantly experienced playing in the EPL)

-Cahill (solid CB when Gallas moves on)

-Leandro (definitely worth a punt at the prices being mentioned)

-Vucinic (the best striker out of the 'realistic' bunch)

Out: Keane, Pav, Crouch, Defoe, Hutton, GDS, Pienaar, Bentley, Jenas, Bassong, Alnwick, Khumalo (blimey, that's a lot of players!!)

That would leave us with a good squad full of balance, experience and raw talent:

Gomes
Friedel
Cudicini

Kaboul
King*
Dawson*
Cahill*
Gallas
BAE*
Rose
Walker
Corluka

Marin
Modric
Sandro
Bale* (22 yrs tomorrow :))
Lennon*
Parker*
Hudd*
Palacios
Kranjcar
VDV

Leandro
Vucinic
(?? one of the youth that we've signed)

It's probably been posted before, but we've got a half decent team from the 'dead-wood' that we had when the transfer window opened:

--------------Petoska (sic)-------------

Hutton----Khumalo---Bassong-----Pienaar

Bentley-----Jenas-----O'Hara-------GDS

------------Crouch---Defoe-----------

Subs: Keane, Pav, Alnwick

Good enough to stay in the EPL
