Man Utd
Chelsea
Arsenal......I may hate Arsenal more than anyone else. But I also respect them...certainly more than any of the other top 4 contenders.

I hate Liverpool as much as Chelsea and Arsenal I think. Born in 85, living in South Kent, every **** supported Liverpool for some reason! I would get people at school taking the piss out of our results yet I would continue to not give a shit as I was the only one who actually went to any games! Glory hunting ****s. And their Victim FC sense pisses me off, other teams get bans and fines, they get the occasional one and apparantly it's always them! Fuck off. The sooner you fuck off to your destined midtable shitness the better.

To be honest, I'd prefer Arse or Chelsea rather than ManCity, but that ain't gonna happen, so I don't really care who gets 4th place (behind City, United and us) - as long as they finish as the second best team in London...

Considering United and City are pretty much nailed on, I'd like us(obviously) and Chelsea to join them. My reasoning;

The longer Liverpool stay out of the top the the better for us and I think(might be slightly biased) if we finish in the Champions League spots this year we might overtake them and be a more attractive club for big players, not to mention the financial implecations of them missing out for the third year in a row.

Same with Arsenal, although it would take a couple more years to completely overtake them. They're on the decline already and I think if they miss out on the CL spots Van Persie will go and it'll make it more difficult for them to find good replacements if they every decide to finally spend some money.

Chelsea will probably go on another big spending spree, although missing out in the CL spots might make the "rebuilding process" more difficult. Still, I think they could cope better financially and will still be able to attract big name players.

So basically I want Arsenal and Liverpool to miss out because I think they'll be easier to dislodge long-term from the Champions League places than it would be with Chelsea.

Either we are all a bunch of wussies or we are illiterate.

Choose ya pansies!! Choose!!

Don't make me make a poll......

Why do we have to pick from those teams? If I can't have

Spurs
Wolves
Everton
Villa

I suppose it'd be

Spurs
Man U
Arsenal
Liverpool

I don't regard Chelsea or ManC as proper clubs any more so that's the only 4 I can pick. I only put Liverpool 4th because I grew up with a load of glory hunting plastic scousers and my best friend is one of them but he takes the piss out of Spurs all the time, or tries to.

From a purely selfish viewpoint, as a Yid...this.

From the perspective of a right thinking fan of football, first and foremost...this.

Damn, it's just so hard...I'm sticking with my original post

I chose the Top 4 challengers. Makes it more difficult...

I still believe that Wolves have a chance. Write them off at your peril!

On the basis that Arsenal and Man Utd are the two clubs I hate the most I'd have to say, Us, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea.

If we're talking all of the PL

Tottenham
Swansea
Norwich
Wolves

Realistically

Tottenham
Man United

Fuck, do I have to choose between the rest? Arsenal are, well Arsenal, Liverpool are just a bunch of delusional brats these days (both club and fans), and Chelsea and Man City aren't even football clubs any more.

I suppose I'd say Arsenal (respectable financial model, if nothing else) and Man City.

Spurs to win the league on goal difference or by 1 point with both Arsenal and Chelsea to really rub it in for them.

Chelsea will always have the money to attract big players - so no CL wouldn't hurt them, not the way it'd hurt Liverpool and Arse. In fact, the longer we can keep Pool and Arse out of the CL spots, the better - especially if Wenger retires soon or goes senile and John Henry runs out of money.

So:

Us
City
United
Chelsea

I'd love more than anything to have the sugar-daddy clubs go bankrupt, but realistically that's not going to happen. It's better for us if they're taking up spots that would go to our more needy neighbors.

I hate Liverpool the most, followed by Chelsea/Arsenal. Probably go for a top 4 of City, United, Spurs, Arsenal.

Edit: I like bananafish's logic, Chelsea out of the top 4 wouldn't hurt them so much, Arsenal out would definitely hurt them, so I'd put Chelsea in the top 4 instead.

Us - Obviously
City - Them missing out on Champions league won't affect who they can sign.
Liverpool - So far behind us one season in the champions league won't make too much difference.
United - Finish 4th and miss out in the qualifying round.

This would also leave us as the only London club in the C.L. so could be a big advantage with attracting players.
