At the minute I cant see us signing anyone, simply because the players that we have been linked to wouldnt come to WHL. Id love to JKH, Van der varrt at the, Lane but I cant see it. We will sell the likes of Zakora, Huddlestone, Bentley, Bent, Keane, Pavlyuchenko, but id hate us to sign Crouch, Carew, Downing etc.

I think we'll sign a couple, but I don't think they'll be first choice straight away.

We finished the season pretty much in Top 4/5 form, the important thing is to keep that team together and make sure that if we are going to fuck with it with new signings, we bleed them in slowly, that way we can hopefully hit the ground running and keep it going all season long to repeat Jol's efforts of 5th, or who knows, maybe go one higher.

He's just being realistic unlike some who will get carried away and start putting Messi's in their team left, right and center.

I can see what lanh is doing, keeping it simple. More likely then not, his team will be a closer reflection of what our first 11 will probably look like at the start of next term.

Lets face it, the rest of us dont really have a clue who we are going to buy do we.

True that it's all speculation. I was merely pointing out that history shows that starting with exactly the same first 11 is unlikely.

Lanh's right though in his response, probably makes sense to keep that team together. Whether that happens or not is another thing enitrely.
