I don't like this Allen link, sure he's done well for swansea but look at Charlie Adam and David Vaughn (or however you spell it) at Blackpool last year. They looked decent. Now Adam is yet another average player in the Liverpool squad and Vaughn is just really really shit.

Mihaylov and his sweatpants annoy me. Ter Stegen would be great but I don't think he would leave Gladbach yet since he's very young and a big fan, I'm sure his wages are very low though.
Also in WDP's post he said we'll keep Saha if we can only bring in one striker, though we want two. Does that mean we're also keeping Defoe? Assuming we only bring in one, even if it's Adebayor, would leave us with Adebayor, Saha, Defoe.
Adebayor's good but going into next season with those three would be criminal. If he got injured we'd basically have to forfeit the season, given Defoe's inability to play up front on his own and Saha's age/fitness. I don't think I can bear another game like the QPR one. Two strikers who can play the lone role are an absolute necessity. Hopefully Adebayor will be one but we need an adequate backup and someone to compete with him so he's not our only choice to start.
