I really am surprised that people would wanted to effectively swap an unproven Brazilian with a not too fabulous goal-scoring record in brazil with a proven goalscorer thats just out of form.
Leandro looks a good prospect, but he'd have move to another continent where he doesn't speak the language and hit the ground running straight away. We can't afford him to take 6 months to settle in.
Ade will come good, play him up front on his own and he'll thrive ( as we saw last season ).

Sorry if this has already been said, but there is a lot of noise coming from Twitter saying that we've had a bid of $24 million + Gomes accepted for Leandro.
I'd like to believe this but i can't see Levy paying that much, even for him! Although, who knows what could happen considering all the goings on of recent days!
Maybe Levy has seen something in AVB that gives him confidence to spend the money, it is not beyond the realms of possibility.
