He's got a "longer" frame so I think he may look as though he's not as quick-twitched but he can really get moving. The way he can stop, turn, and then show off his quick turn of pace reminds me of Dembele but where Dembele looks like a freight train Anderson looks a little more smooth and almost like he's just smoothly switching gears.

Dual-footed as well and actually will take free kicks/corners from either foot from time to time.

He's probably my favorite young Brazilian that I think is a feasible catch for us should we show the interest.

And according to TransferMarkt his reported value is 5.300.000 £ with a contract running until 2016, so with a decent offer he could be had for under 10.000.000 £. Sounds like an interesting prospect to me.

You sir should be a Spurs scout no doubt :)

Spain have put their higher rate tax rate up, so aren't as attractive as they became after we put up our higher rate tax, the pendulum has swung back our way. Most clubs in Italy are going through a hard time with cutbacks an example being sneijder being touted around.

With the EPL new tv deal coming up we are the most attractive destination in most cases [bugger Llorente].

The French tax rate went up to 75% i think it was on 1st January which is why French clubs are looking to offload players too.

it hasn't - they ruled against it this week: it's unconstitutional - but the french PM still wants to push it through.

the french clubs don't care, it's their players who will get hit by any eventual increase.

We're looking great now anyway imo. I'd like to see Sigurdsson starting more often in place of Defoe/Ade and I think that'd help with creativity whilst he still provides a goal threat. We've been creating chances despite what we lost in the summer and the effects of AVB's coaching are visible now. We have Parker and BAE back, Kaboul to follow, and players like Lennon, Bale and Sandro are playing as well as they ever have.

I'm glad your confident.

But after losing a 13 point lead last season with the likes of Modric and VDV I'm not so. And I'm quite an optimist.

It'll be close for sure.

I know we have dropped points in the run in over the past few years, but last year I think part of the problem is Harry went missing for a good few weeks just after his trial, which deflated the squad.

Everybody expected him away during his trial but he stayed away too long.

I thought i'd post this here: ESPN: La Nazione believes Juventus are monitoring Emmanuel Adebayor’s situation at Tottenham.

Levy tactics would suggest we'll sell Ade for £20m to Juventus and then get them to pay 50% of Llorente's wages for 4 years as he signs for us.

Would be very strange as Bilbao only sign players from Basque origin

as in juve sign adebayor instead of llorente and he signs for us. bilbao must already have a replacement in mind considering everyone has known he's leaving for months (y)

I thought Llorente had turned us down flat and it wasn't just a wages issue from our side? I thought I read something on here in the summer about it..

yup, more than once too by all accounts. however, there's only ever really been us and juve in for him and if juve are now looking at ade (big leap there admittedly) then maybe something has changed. probably all poop anyhow
