So it looks like Levy is gonna play his last minute Russian Roulette on deadline day, who will we end up with when the music stops if anyone ?

There are two things that confuse me about the whole AVB transfer situation. The first is that he spent time as a scout and has supposedly spent time prior to us watching players and making lists, yet his top list of targets are a group of well-known, £20 million plus players. Now I don't spend a great deal of time watching football outside of the premier league, but even I could tell you that Moutinho, Hulk and Leandro would improve the team and probably give us a top four finish. The second thing is why he would expect Levy to make these kinds of signings, as he has absolutely no history of doing so?

The harmonization of strategy needs to happen pretty quickly imo, and if AVB really does have an eye for talent, let's start working on a group of players that are perhaps not quite so well-known, have the capacity to improve the team and are realistic targets for our club and our chairman.

Let's be honest morts for 20 mil or M'Villa for 6 mil. We are Tottenham Hotspurs not City... Would we all spend treble on one player..
We are Tottenham Hotspur. Singular.

Now stop pissing on my chips and tell me it is perfectly reasonable to expect Moutinho to sign for us in the next 48 hours!

I think there are plenty of players we are looking seriously at that we are not privvy to and I certainly of don't think we are putting all our proverbial eggs in the baskets of Moutinho, Willian, Llorente etc.

It's a complete change from our previous regime and this is reflected in the general lack of insightful ITK on our dealings.

I agree but January is all about making signings that will have an instant impact. Hopefully when he has been here a season and we have the whole summer transfer window he will unearth some gems.
