He's nothing to offer there. He's tall and that's it. Falcao just pulled off him 4 Monaco in the pen area and he was adrift. Ball comes across from the wing and he's putting it back to attackers.

Good in the Championship in midfield.

I'm happy for Jake to stay and be a back up centre back if AVB is.

Oh and Pleaty played Ledley in midfield for a season when he was caretaker after Graham left. He scored after 8 seconds against Bradford. Still a EPL record.

Did I also read that, they are getting a new manager tomorrow. With all top stars being transfer listed. Apparently Dinamo Moscow are buying 4 Russian players from Anzhi including Zhirkov

Christ the amount of whinging in this thread today. Yeah, we do need to add a 4th CB to our squad, but we've got 11 days to do it, and I'm sure the wheels are in motion. Some of you need to take a step back. We've done fantastic business so far. Bought in 3 real quality players so far, and are fighting like mad to keep our best one out of the clutches of the biggest club in the world.

Would certainly explain why they've bought 6 or 7 players this window and ALL of them have been Russian, where previously they were interested in international stars.

We haven't been credibly linked to anyone from Anzhi since Willian joined them (and the links stopped then) so there's no current relevance to Spurs with the above story, AND you sourced it from a Russian journalist on Twitter?

I'd buy some petroleum jelly, double quick.

This could be significant djee. Perhaps you should start a thread in General Football. It's well worth discussing and it helps the site as GF should be more robust than it is (nature of the beast that this is the main place).

We need a first choice cb. Livermore aint it whatever llm says.
