Personally I was devastated when AVB was appointed knew he would be a disaster yet I'm well excited by poch, agree or not we have to get behind this fella or face another season of shit like last year

I've just been speaking to a friend and I mentioned Poch going to Spurs most likely to happen etc etc...

My friend then just told me that Rodriguez dad's (his agent) best mate drinks down the boozer where my friend's friend works and he has been told that Rodriguez to Spurs is unofficially sorted....depending on who we appoint as our next manager as the Rodriguez party want to see which direction Spurs would be going in. i.e hiring hoddle, moyes or sherwood keeping his job would have meant Rodriguez wouldn't want to move. However if Poch comes, Rodriguez moving to Spurs would be a go.

Credentials of that punter? I don't know. However I know my friend's mate and he's a Spurs fan as well.

Don't mean to be dismissive but that's a bit like Ken Dodds Dad's Dog mate.....:)

I have one on the same level - Marc Willmots, but maybe that's for another day.

so we're just going to pillage southampton?

surely we've got more creativity than that

I can't really think of a better replacement for Kaboul than Lovren.

While Schneiderlin is an ideal Modric replacement to play alongside Sandro - a deep-sitting ball recycler (I've never been convinced by Dembele)

There's some decent, affordable talent at Southampton beyond the obvious 'names'.

Win or lose I just hope we play decent football that will make WHL roar again, if we get top four and win some cups along the way that's just a bonus. No more getting turned over by inferior teams, and completely battered by top four competing sides....

Not asking much I know.

Every top team is going to drop a few points to outfits from the bottom half of the table; it's a fact of life. Our record against everyone outside the top four last season was actually very impressive—68 points out of a possible 90. If only we'd maintained our improvement against the top four we'd have been laughing, but 1/24 was absolutely pathetic.

Jesús Pérez - Assistant Manager
Miguel D'Agostino - Coach
Toni Jiménez - GK Coach

Are his main 3. In addition Fran Alonso is technical support (a DVD guy!)

I think there's room for Freund in there too - AVB had his two Portuguese guys as well, and Sherwood had two of his own.

It's Parks I'd be more concerned about, as you don't usually have two GK coaches.

Ferdinand and Ramsey will join Sherwood in his next job IMO - Levy is just holding on to them so Sherwood's new club has to pay for them, instead of us paying them off.

I hope that's it's Poch that makes the decision and not Levy.

We also need to shift all of Redknapps cronies which are hanging around. Sorry Ferdinand.

We have history with Southampton. We stole their manager and their then best player in Hoddle and Richards. And then we took a certain mr Bale from them. And now we are taking their manager/back room staff and potentially more players. I can understand there slight frustration at us
