I think its all down Willian. ITK comes from a variety of sources, but after that fiasco, it seems like Levy ended any that came from the club. This is why the amount of ITK has slowed down.

I imagine that if LennonsJetBoots ran into Comolli in a lounge in Germany, today, he wouldn't have had a fun convo/picture moment with somebody that high in our organization.
That's a fair shout. The January window wasn't wildly forthcoming either.
Not related to specific any ITKer, but this window has been very quiet and it's the first one since Sherwood, Ferdinand, Ramsey left. Different people sit at the top table these days & they don't seem to be particularly loose lipped.

401 bits of ITK last summer (and that's just in the RO, let alone the stuff that's just put in the ITK thread and other transfer threads and not in the RO) and 187 bits of ITK this summer (albeit loads of stuff didn't make it into the RO for some reason) and just 32 bits of ITK in January.

Definitely less ITK since last summer and I'd wager it's because of the Willain bullshit...

I think it has more to do with the high profile given to it by sites like this one. I first came to this site from 606 when I heard about the ITK section, back in 2008. Since then it has (understandably) become more and more emphasised.

Don't get me wrong. The site handles it brilliantly, but it has also resulted in places like SO pretty much making their ITK restricted, and others thinking twice before saying something that before might have had a small audience, but which would now be on twitter and FB in a matter of seconds.

Someone posted a copy of some document that showed the name of the Dutch registered company that owned the 30%.

Anyone ?

I'm not sure, but I think part of the ownership involves that agent - Pini Zahavi - that everyone loves.

I think it was @yanno who suggested that, but not sure. If we could locate the document that someone posted it might help.

I think the name of the company was mentioned - but the ownership was essentially Zahavi. Must be in the Musacchio thread...

Found it:

The company was called Rio Football Services Holland BV, a subsidiary of the Gibralter registered Rio Football Services Limited, which a little bit of googling does indeed tie up to Zahavi. Also tenuously linked to Joorabchian

Well done. I was trolling through old posts and not getting anywhere.

I was really hoping we'd get the Musacchio deal done. Shame we couldn't bring it over the line. Maybe January?

I suspect that we'll be after striker options then...

Lads I have some ITK regarding Townsend (probably not a lot more than we already know) from deadline day. Basically my mate from my football team is Andros' cousin and he was told by Troy (Andros' Dad) that Tottenham had turned down a bid of £9mill and Jay Rodriguez before 9pm. Andros was actually pretty sure he was headed to Southampton earlier in the day.

So that's one of the rare moments I'll get information (y)

Hang on, WE turned that bid down? So Southampton wanted 9m and Andros for Rodriguez? Am I reading that right?

Hmmmm...I can see why we turned it down. Rodriguez will probably not be fit to play until November/December at the earliest. So we would be weakening ourselves in the short term. We'll still sign Rodriguez in Jan so there is no danger in missing out on him.
