Purely and simply because people are now betting on him due to the newspaper stories. That’s how odds work...
Indeed. I got on a while back at 20/1 and not long afterwards he went in to 5/4 I think, might have been 6/4. Anyway he slowly drifted back out again.

For what it's worth, I spoke to Micky Hazard last night and asked him if Poch would be given time to turn things round and his answer was a definite 'yes'. He also basically said it would cost too much money to pay him off and get someone else in.
Seriously that would be an absolutely stupid reason for keeping him on. The opportunity cost from a poor season, and we’ll have to pull our socks up to reach that dizzy height, outweighs the cost of paying him off by multiples. Levy is many things but stupid isn’t one of them.

That'll have been levy putting £1.5m on at 20/1 ahead of the task

He hasn’t been 6/4 till tonight I’ve checked the history back to the start of the season. And as said last night was 12/1 in places and nothing significant we know about news wise happened today. Obviously it’s not definitive but somebody obviously thinks they know something since last night.

He was that short where I bet. I can't answer for your 'check' I'm afraid.

After Brighton he did go 2/1 but then quickly bounced back. Generally when the price has shortened it’s been after a bad result. There’s is nothing in his price history that correlates to a move like this from 14/1 to 2/1 in 48 hours when we haven’t played.

Betting companies all had different odds, offers and boosters. Eg for Liverpool v Man C you would get 30-1 for a pool win a booster... whereas most bookies had them evens.

When Leicester won 9-0 at Southampton, as the third goal went in I got on Hasenhuttl to be the next manager to go at 16/1 or 20/1, I can't remember now I'll have to check. By the time the game ended he must have been something like 5/4 :D

I still can't believe that fucker is in a job and that I've not paid for a holiday off the back of it.

Lol those are sign up offers and you’ll get about £2 on.

I think people really need to re-consider their vote.
If we lose Poch we are in big trouble. Rose has highlighted the problem at the club. Now tell me who is going to want to come in when their is this massive shit show happening behind the scenes? Senior players are running down their contract and only giving half effort on the field so how is that Pochs fault exactly. I say we should just let the man work through this very difficult transition. Levy is the one that has really screwed this club and it has come back to bite us really hard in the ass. I am fully behind Poch and just hope there is light at the end of the tunnel.

You think its Levy's fault these players havent been sold? Theres noway Levy has been refusing to sell players. He also wasnt responsible for us signing rubbish like Jansen and Aurier. Poch needs to hold his hands up to mistakes made, Id have a lot more respect for him if he did, I imagine the players would too.
Neither Walker nor Trippier left because of Levy, Levy isnt refusing to give KWP a chance.

Walker left because he wasn’t getting paid enough (Levy call not Poch) and Trippier was rUbbish last season so correct decision in my opinion. Problems we are having are due to underinvestment with Poch not being backed by Levy

I heard rose was a done deal to Watford for 14m and then backtracked and asked for 20m. Not sure how much say Poch has over who is sold
And who isn’t. I still think Levy is responsible.

Walker left because Poch rotated him out of key games. The problem we have at right-back is Poch. His insistence they cant play twice in a week, his decision to sign Aurier, his refusal to give KWP game time. Theres nothing Levy can do about any of that, except sack Poch

He rotated walker because during the season he told poch he wanted to leave and poch thought that was disrespectful to be thinking about leaving during the season.

He has rotated the full back since almost day one, he also rotates the left back at the same time, he still does

And yet in 16/17 he had virtually the best player in every position in the PL however that team was assembled cost wise. Kane was best striker, Eriksen most assists, Dele best goal scoring midfielder, best FB, best CB. It’s not exactly like he magicked up a team out of journeymen. Conte beat him with Moses and Alonso as wing backs. Fully believe had you swapped Pochettino and conte in 16/17 we’d have won the league by a mile.

I’d flip it and say if we had no European commitments, and Chelsea went full-in on CL/EL... we’d have won the league.

course we may yet get a stab at that next season:bored:

Both these posts are wrong.

Rose was adamant this was rubbish and no one ever came in for him. He said that a few days ago.

Walker left because Poch rotated him out of key games. The problem we have at right-back is Poch. His insistence they cant play twice in a week, his decision to sign Aurier, his refusal to give KWP game time. Theres nothing Levy can do about any of that, except sack Poch
Walker was dropped because he wanted out not the other way around.
