I agree it’s the players also but it the owners who needed to invest as Poch said we needed a painful rebuild what happened he got sacked. So the Owners and chairman are the issue as they always have been when it comes to football don’t back the managers, manager speaks out they get sacked. Ramos, Jol, AvB , Harry and now Poch. Refuse to take us to the next level. ????
Ah I see ...

Well I don't I mean that severance pay in that list ... the money they paid each incoming manager ...

Hmmm okay - keep tub thumping. You have a valid point in there and people will agree but it's wrapped up in too much other stuff for me, sorry.

So they're devaluing their own club for some imaginary profit you think they're pocketing?
Surely you've got to see how stupid this statement is?
Your posts make my brain cells die, please stop.
If levy and Lewis don’t have the desire, ambition or resources to make us competitive on the pitch then they should move on. Thanks for the new stadium and great training facilities but 1 trophy in 20 years simply isn’t good enough. I follow THFC and the FC doesn’t stand for Property Portfolio. I don’t really give a fuck that we have a lovely 5 star hotel for the players to stay in. Priorities are all wrong at our club.

The money on 5 managers pay off is like peanuts compared to the money coming in to our club. We made the biggest profit in premier league history last year. All we do is get players on loan big club with small club mentality as I keep saying refuse to take us to next level. Levy and Lewis are raking the money in my friend once they sell us the glory on the pitch will return, it was the first decade where spurs never won a trophy for as long as I can remember !!!

What has any of this waffle got to do with my post you've quoted?

Our fanbase has started get a bit Woolwich tbh, entitlement is rife.
They've just appointed one of the most successful managers in the modern game, signed Sess, Lo Celso, Ndombele, and Fernandez so far in the last two windows, oh yeah and built a billion pound stadium....where does that fit in with your 'desire, ambition or resources' ?

Yes my friend exactly what I’ve been saying on here for years and either got banned or mocked. The quicker they sell us the better for everyone. Levy and Lewis have ruined the club for profit off our badge. And it insults me when I see that badge on his jacket. He’s not a Spurs fan far from just tells us what he wants us to hear. Great comments

Well that's because you are being a whingy bitch. This season is a write off but you obviously seem to think that what had occurred under Poch is easily fixed.

He’s just sad we’ve gone downhill, it’s ok to show a bit of passion.

I’m actually quite optimistic for the remainder of this season though, I think we’ll put a run together and scrape top four, maybe even win the fa cup

It’s a very good team on paper, just isn’t clicking at the moment. But that will change

If I could give you multiple rainbows I would. I think we would have to have league winning form from now to get 4th. Just not happening.

The post from Turkish that you had previously quoted yourself was critical of the lack of investment from the owners. And that apparently makes your brain cells die. Bit OTT really.

We signed 3 players in the summer after not making any signings for 18 months. So let’s not start kidding ourselves that that was amazing and we should be really grateful. It was once again the very bare minimum from the owners. Where is the 2nd striker we’ve needed for about 3 years now? No where to be fucking seen!

Poch had got the squad to a point where it just needed gradual improvement each window. But he got absolutely zero backing and now we are basically starting from scratch with a new manager yet again.

But maybe that’s good enough for you. All I want to see is gradual but continual progression. Levy just seems to take one step forwards then two steps back. Rinse and repeat.

When Poch was here net spend of 7.9 mil per season!!!!!! Clubs in the championship spend more ????????

Nope... the bit I quoted did.
And it makes ZERO sense.
Go and read again.

You make some decent points, some I agree with, some I dont...but that's neither here nor there.

Thanks mate appreciate a proper response but we have been let down by the owners who refuse to take is to the next level. We were above and better than Liverpool 2/3 yrs ago they invested we didn’t. How tables have turned due to one club having ambition and the other ie Spurs none . Cheers pal

They didn't. Just one of the many complete myths that get spun out on here.

They managed to sell a load of cloggers for double their value and did well with their replacements.

Bloody hell. I’ve only just seen the decision at the end. We really did miss out on a goal by a millimetre. I mean if there was any team that would miss out by that magnitude it would be us but bloody hell that ridiculous.

All started going wrong when Dembele left. I mean seriously wrong. January 2019. We’ve been shit since then basically

if he had stayed and been fit for it, I think we’d have won in Madrid.

Still, the £11m was nice. Enough to pay off Poch and co!
