Didn’t show much, but doesn’t seem that well suited to playing on the right. He’s so one footed and it seems to make him pretty predictable on the ball. At least if he was on the left he’d presumably be a threat cutting inside.

Not perfect but his workrate is so high and he made a couple of good progressive passes. Considering it’s his second match with a whole new group of lads he’s going to fit like a glove for us this season.

Feels a bit weird seeing Cirkin playing for us as I remember him scoring two on his youth debut vs Swansea and the Swansea coaches and everyone then joked I wonder if he has welsh grandparents ?

How does he qualify for Ireland then?
A lot of neat & tidy stuff, but I still hope for a lot more from the likes of Moura & Dele they should be dominating teams like this on a consistent basis.

Qualifies for Ireland as he was born there. Qualifies for Latvia due to parentage. Qualifies for England due to being schooled here* growing up.
*By here I really mean there, as I’m not in England, but you know what I mean!
