Unsure on Milik due to fact he has had couple of serious injuries over past few years, Last thing we need is to finally sign a striker only for him to be permanently on the treatment table.

it's unlikely because he has one 1 year contract, he won't extend, he wants to leave and Napoli wants to sell him and other clubs interested in him are choosing other players so Levy can negotiate that price down.

Hopefully Diallo is the backup. Seems far more attainable and affordable than a lot of the other names being thrown around.

I’d be really happy with diallo. In a full ligue 1 season he probably would’ve scored 15-20 goals and he came from the same academy in Senegal as mane and ismaila sarr. In the Mourinho mold, and he’s Metz’s captain. Ticks all the boxes for me.

Yup and he's a leader, wants to play for us and wouldn't break the bank.
You have to presume this mystery player is someone that Jose/Levy think is a bit special, otherwise we should've just brought in Diallo to help us get through this bastard run of fixtures at the start of the season.
I don't think we should be pushing for Milik simply because it's clear that we're his 4th or 5th choice. We should be chasing players who really want to play for Spurs, not those who see us as a last resort.

I don’t know why we’re writing this off based on one report. Di Marzio is a lot of things but reliable isn’t one of them.
This smells like a player we’d swoop for in 2 weeks when our main target has moved on and Napoli start to panic about losing him for nothing next year.
