Serge is Ivorian...
I saw it too and was about to comment but it was corrected by others further back.Sorry but since when was Serge French?
When he’s on the right he also links up really well with Aurier, quite a few times when he dropped back to cover and then one breaking whilst one held.Sissoko was MOTM for me. Not just though for the goal and good play in the middle but actually when he was switched to the right wing (Which i think he should there more) he made some great runs, nice interchanging passes and got the team moving up the pitch. When he plays on that wing he looks more dangerous and is a bit of a battering ram.
Where was he born? Was it the country he's captained?Aurier is french, moved there as a child. Lived most of his life there. His passport is french, his family live there, he chooses to play football for ivory coast as does English footballer zaha or as sterling chooses not to play for Jamaica because he's English .
So unless you consider those who aren't born in a county not really English/french then that's a whole other story really for one of the political threads

I'm only splitting hairs and I suppose it really should be about what nationality he considers himself to be, maybe both.
Apart from Aurier holding french citizenship and Ivory Coast being an ex-french colony and him Speaking french as his first language.Højbjerg is more French than Aurier ?

It could be said that being Parisian is different to being French though. When talking about playing for psg
“All my family is in Paris, I am Parisian, I cannot dream of better. Aside from that, today, I am having my little career elsewhere, I hope to be the best a bit everywhere."
There's no debate really unless you don't consider someone of that nationality unless they're born there.
And that's for one of the ukip threads probably

There are plenty of foreign "Londoners".
