We are on our way to Wembley!

I enjoyed the game and we did enough of what we had to do to reach another final

Noted: Ndombele lasted 95 minutes

Noted: Hojbjerg is human after all ( I saw him bleed!)

Sissoko my MOTM

Dier's diagonal passing was incredible today, always hit Aurier in the chest. Aurier again showed why he's the best RB at the club. Very alert and was constantly hassling the opposition players, without giving away to many silly free-kicks. Sissoko and Tanguy were amazing, really great game by both of them. Pretty much everyone played well bar Kane, who looked tired but has the next 7-8 days to rest up with his newborn and score a couple against Villa. All in all, we're in a final with Jose Mourinho as our coach. Let us enjoy this feeling.

Sissoko the obvious Man of the match and I'm so happy for him.
Ndombele was a beast too.
I vote for Aurier though. For that tackle, in what would surely be the equalizer. And for his overall composure.

Sissoko man of the match, but Son was great too, including his defensive work. Ndombele was classy, we are lucky to have him. Sanchez needed a good game and he did it. Hojbjerg is a cyborg. Lucas started well and he is unlucky not to have a goal and assist, but he had huge stretches where he didn't offer a whole lot. Kane worst player, had some good passes and his defensive work was good but he moved like a truck and couldn't make a dribble. Like a football version of old Marc Gasol. Regi lightning quick and great assist.

I thought he mishit loads

There were like 3-4 to Lucas that were overhit but the one's for Aurier were pretty much directly to Serge's chest.

11 accurate from 18 attempts. Not bad, I'm hyper critical of his long passing, so this was a significant improvement.

It can only be the French Messi.

Notable mentions for Serge, PEH, Tanguy and Son.

Wasn't our best performance, but we did what we needed to do and managed the game well.

Lloris - 7 - Didn't have a great deal to do, but made one or two saves, when called upon

Aurier - 7 - Actually thought this was one of his better games. Sadly, still has so little end product when attacking. But defensively he was great.
Davison - 6.5 - Played really well, I thought. Only had one brain fart, that set up the chance that Aurier blocked. Outside of that he was solid.
Dier - 7 - Very steady throughout the game. Wayward passes from the back needs to stop. He does seem a bit more switched on when playing with Toby.
Reggie - 6 - Great cross for the first goal. But he does get caught out of position a lot. Needs to work on that side of his game, to be 100% reliable.

PEH - 6.5 - As usual, protected the back 4, and did his fair share of defensive sweeping up. That said, often a momentum breaker moving forward. Too many times he received the ball and would immediately spin around to pass it back, from their half.
Sissoko - 8 (MOM) - What a lovely header for the goal. And his all around display was good. Especially defensively.

Tanguy - 7 - Played very well tonight. Glad to see him make it through 90 minutes. Great pass for Sonny's goal. But did seem to struggle at times tonight with bridging defense and attack. They did a good job of having someone stick to him when we had the ball.

Sonny - 7 - Was the best of the attackers tonight. Lovely taken goal. But like his others up front, he often drifted in and out of the game.
Lucas - 6 - Worked very hard in the first half, and then completely went missing for the rest of the game. Not sure what is going on with him this season, as he seems to have lost a yard of pace, and often is passive. Is that a coaching thing or a player thing? Hard to tell.
Harry - 5.5 - Not his best game. But did get a bit better in the second half. Clearly he struggles playing twice in a week. Which is a great shame, as he should be in the prime of his career right now. Alas, I think one too many injuries have taken a toll. Play him once a week and he is world class. Twice a week, and he's a decent PL standard forward.

Subs - in general most of those that came on didn't have much of an impact. winks tried to sure things up in the middle, but felt like he had a hard time finding any rhythm, and was consistently out of position. this probably had something to do with PEH coming off and Tanganga coming on into midfield - which I have to say was a really strange decision from Jose, and frankly he got away with one. As Tanganga was well off the pace and seemed lost - giving the ball away a few times from dangerous areas. Not that I am criticizing him - cos this is not his position. Odd that Sissoko wasn't placed back there with Winks and have Dele come on to play on the right. That said, all is lovely jubbly, as we made the final.

Jose - will be thrilled with how the players showed a bit more desire in the second half. They seemed to press a little harder. But without much success. I think the disallowed VAR incident shook them up and they seemed a lot more dangerous afterward.
He got the tactics right for this one. But still needs to find a way to get a number of these players to show more gumption in attack. It was very strange to see how slow and pedantic the front three were in the first half. Lots of standing around or when they did run, it would often be toward the ball, as opposed to running in to space. Then again, this is nothing new. We've us frequently play this was throughout the year. Hopefully they will be much more switched on in the final!!

Relaxed bordering on somnambulant. But we did enough. Controlled the game mostly
Lloris...............7.........Doesn't do much these days but does it well.
Aurier..............7.........Awful crossing in first half. Woke up in the second with a vital block.
Sanchez..........6.........Not really stretched but sound.
Dier..................7+......Done good. Some good balls out. That doesn't sound right
Reguilón.........7.........Good cross for the goal. Gives us extra thrust and penetration. Oh dear!
Hojbjerg.........7+.......Gave blood for the cause. Literally.
Sissoko............7+......Well taken goal: Combined well with his French compatriot Aurier down the wing.
Moura...............5.......Still dining out on his last semi final. Forgotten how to pass..
Ndombele.......7+.....The Fourth Musketeer. Unique talent and becoming my favourite in Dele's absence MOM
Son....................7.........Lively. Fine goal set up by Ndombele
Kane..................6.........Coasting and should have given way for Vinicius much earlier

Vinicius should have been on at 70 minutes when the 2nd. goal went in not on the 88th.
We won and could have switched the engine on if necessary but conserved our energy.
Disallowed goal and red card helped but plenty of scope to up our game,
but not needed as good as they were.
Dele for Moura would have been good. But Spurs loss will be PSG's gain

Sissoko. He scored and that is rarer than hens teeth. That makes him prolific by our midfield standards

Thought Aurier was better than ratings I have seen, couple of dodgy crosses and should have scored but defensively was good for me

Agree with everything except 5.5 to Kane. 6 is fair considering the defensive shift he put in plus assist the assister for Sons goal

Lloris had the routine to deal with and dealt with it routine.

Aurier with a goal saving block, no mistakes, ownership or his flank and would’ve had a goal or assist with more composure.

Sanchez was skinned once in the build up to Aurier’s block, ok otherwise.

Dier passed as well as he ever has, blocked everything that came at him and led the defence well.

Reguilón liked to be full of energy, involved at both end of the pitch and not giving Brentford a moment’s rest. Lovely cross for the opener.

Sissoko scored a great header, drive forward with the ball both from missing and when he switched to the right, and shrugged off challengers like they are flies ask night.

Højbjerg as usual was everywhere the opposition didn’t want him, fighting for every blade of grass, and I’m still not convinced the blood on his leg didn’t belong to his assailant.

Lucas was ok, no more. Some nice dribbles and displays of pace but didn’t seem to make anything happen.

Ndombele however made everything happen. Great dribbling, incisive passing including for our second, did his duty off the ball too and didn’t let I for ninety minutes.

Son scored an absolute gem, again. Probably our main threat but not always great with his execution with a couple of heavy passes and touches.

Kane barely broke into a stride but still managed a lovely ball into Ndombele in the build up to Son’s goal.

Davies, Winks and Vinicius all decent.
