Great all-round performance by Sissoko, but Ndombele imposed himself on the game, pulled most of our strings and contributed for 90+ minutes despite his known stamina issues. My MOTM.

Aurier was our best defender. Sissoko our best midfielder, and Sonny our best forward. I am torn for MOM and think they should share it.

Lloris 6
Aurier 8
Sanchez 6
Dier 6
Reguilon 6
Højbjerg 7
Sissoko 8
Moura 6
Ndombele 7.5
Son 8
Kane 6

Winks 7
Tanganga 7
Vinicius n/a

Jose 8 - Semi-finals are for winning. He won. Shame Vinicius did not get longer.

Just thought i'll mention it.

To wembley we go...

Went for Tanguy as he generally drove us forward the most. Sissoko was good and of course scored, but he still spent a lot of the time hiding.

Sissoko was MOTM for me. Not just though for the goal and good play in the middle but actually when he was switched to the right wing (Which i think he should there more) he made some great runs, nice interchanging passes and got the team moving up the pitch. When he plays on that wing he looks more dangerous and is a bit of a battering ram.

Sissoko ,Ndombele and Hojbjerg all great.
I have always considered Dave Mackay and Graham Roberts to be the hardest Spurs players I have ever seen. Adding Hojbjerg to that list now. What a player, and his message to the lad who got sent off was classic. If anyone hasn’t seen it , he says he knows he didn’t mean it,he’s a Viking and he’s fine, he owes him a new shin pad, he’s going to be a great player, keep working hard, good luck to him and the team. He’s not one of these bloody softies who roll over and over screaming in pain at the slightest touch is our PEH.

Difficult to pick between Aurier, Sissoko and Ndombele. Aurier was very good defensively, Sissoko ran his nuts off and scored a goal and Ndombele tied most of their midfield up in knots. Hojbjerg was also very good and I like it when he drops into a back 3 with the wingbacks pushing up (like Dier used to). Ndombele my MOM though since he was our most influential player, sometimes having 3 or 4 of their's trying to stop him. He's also fully capable of 90 minutes+.

When he’s on the right he also links up really well with Aurier, quite a few times when he dropped back to cover and then one breaking whilst one held.

Aurier is french, moved there as a child. Lived most of his life there. His passport is french, his family live there, he chooses to play football for ivory coast as does English footballer zaha or as sterling chooses not to play for Jamaica because he's English .

So unless you consider those who aren't born in a county not really English/french then that's a whole other story really for one of the political threads

Where was he born? Was it the country he's captained?

I'm only splitting hairs and I suppose it really should be about what nationality he considers himself to be, maybe both.

When talking about playing for psg

“All my family is in Paris, I am Parisian, I cannot dream of better. Aside from that, today, I am having my little career elsewhere, I hope to be the best a bit everywhere."

There's no debate really unless you don't consider someone of that nationality unless they're born there.
And that's for one of the ukip threads probably

Højbjerg is more French than Aurier ?
Apart from Aurier holding french citizenship and Ivory Coast being an ex-french colony and him Speaking french as his first language.
Plus PEH being fully danish.
Ignoring everything and just looking at their first names - even then this doesn’t work.
So, what you on about?

Aurier is French even though he was born in the Ivory Coast and plays for and captains the national team, that's an interesting theory.

Only SC

It could be said that being Parisian is different to being French though.
There are plenty of foreign "Londoners".
