Did not hear what he said, but:What is this Brighton manager on about, we were much better, they didn’t really threaten us.

And yet......

Pretty odd of him to acknowledge that he was caught out by the formation change. Bit naive to say it publicly maybe? What is this Brighton manager on about, we were much better, they didn’t really threaten us.
He got caught offside a couple of times and can work on that, but he was excellent second half in defence, and led a couple of counters as well. Much improved I thoughtam only one think sess wasnt great, gave ball away sloppy for chance and was offside a lot
Feels like the last 40 years has been an unforced eraOverall very good -just need to stop the unforced eras and then the world will be ours.
I wouldn’t go that far…..Missed the whole fecking game, sounds like we were good?
That's because xG is a bollocks stat that is essentially based on someone's opinion. We had a better xG according to the sky statistics.
The vagaries of the match thread. I personally thought that was his worst game for us by quite a distance tonight. Physically looked way off it and trundled about doing daft stuff frequently.
A big problem after the opening to the game was that him and PEH looked knackered, plus Bissouma neutered by the booking meant the midfield collapsed. But Hojbjerg if nothing else does dig deep and find some extra gas in the tank often in situations like that to his credit, he shows some bollocks and leadership to find that extra few percent and get to the final whistle.
Not true. xG is very valuable particularly when considered over an extended period. It’s a better predictor of the future than previous results. But in terms of the xG for today’s game it obviously doesn’t reflect the amount of times we had great attacking moments but a poor final ball stopped us from creating a big chance to shoot and score. That's because xG is a bollocks stat that is essentially based on someone's opinion.
But there’s also factors where it’s not as reliable on judging a gameNot true. xG is very valuable particularly when considered over an extended period. Not really poor. Not great either obviously.Thought we were really good tbh.

I have to say that our passing at times is absolutely shocking. I reckon they should practice it a bit more. Also there were times when we just didn’t have any ideas what to do when we had the ball in their half again.
The players just aren’t very good for the most part.
