It did us the world of good playing away and not in the toxic WHL atmosphere. Our support tonight was fantastic. Prime example is how they encouraged Bryan after he had a pretty poor 1st half. Once the crowd got behind him he was a different player.

Lovely stuff from Gil and Sarr today.
If they can continue to work on their confidence and build their physical strength - Bryan in particular - both could be really tidy players for us.
Sarr has a touch of the Yaya Toure about him imo, and as others have said, he's remarkably physical for a player of his age and build. Could be an absolute unit given more gym time.

Hope Conte sees what Sarr and Gil bought to the team and realises he can be a bit more adventurous with his team selections when the first choice eleven is hit by injuries and the backups aren't performing.
Royal was naff when he came on and we suddenly looked quite vulnerable down that side but the fans booing and jeering him are an embarrassment.

I thought Sarr was going to be a good player in time but even I’m very pleasantly surprised by how ready for this level he looked when he came on. Harvey White looked decent too. 4-0 win, get Kulusevski and Bentancur back, PLEASE SIGN A RWB! and we have a chance against the scum for sure with our strongest 11 with a competent RWB added

Excellent win. Well done Conte, Kane, and the team. Just what we needed and fairly unexpected. Hopefully we can go on a run now albeit a couple of very tough league games coming up.
