Welcome to the Crystal Palace v Spurs Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

Bissouma suspended, Richarlison out, Lucas out, Bentancur probably still out, Deki unsure. Crystal Palace will be up for it as always at their ground. We're in a world of trouble for this one with squad status and the club being in free fall.

They will squeeze the living life out of this game against us.

Even when we have had successful performances at Selhurst Park it has never been pleasing on the eye, including the one where Dele scored.

I expect the atmosphere to get the better of us.

On paper, this is arguably our easiest game in the next five league fixtures

Can’t see us getting anything here, will be a physical game. With the options available can’t really do much and you know he’s never going to play a back four. Maybe throw Pape Sarr in for his first game.

Romero Dier Davies
Doherty Sarr PEH Sessegnon

Curious as to why you would play Sarr over Skipp? Sarr has shown nothing.

Really not sure if I give a damn tbh. Football is just horribly toxic at the moment and it’s not good for my mental health. Hope we win obviously but think I’m better off avoiding the inevitable defeat. Not convinced we could beat a league two side right now.

Expecting a loss/draw, even though Palace are very average.

Hope Sarr gets a game in absence of Bissouma and Bentancur.
Realistically have to pray that Kulu is back.
Play Spence because literally why not.
If we have no fit attackers put some academy products on the bench like Mundle, Donley and Lankshear so we don't have to bring on Emerson when we are chasing.
Start Dier.
If we win tap up any of Olise, Zaha, Eze and Guehi afterwards.

That's it really.

If Conte is going to stick with a front three then it might was well be Gil Kane Perisic.
Sonny has gone completely , only decent game he has had this season was against Leicester when he was benched.

My team would be:

Lloris

Romero
Dier
Lenglet

Doherty
Sessegnon

Skipp
PEH

Perisic
Son
Kane

Try and press high otherwise we will be taken to the cleaners.

I’d go 4-5-1 if Kulusevski is still out. Kill me now but in that formation I’d play Dier in midfield to give us an option of dropping into a back five when out of possession.
