Slot looks like the type of manager I will get ridiculously excited by, then we won't go near him, I'll be furious, he'll go to Everton, struggle because of the structure there and underperform and I'll pretend I never rated him.

Can I let me ego run rampant and say I absolutely smashed it here.

Slot leaves meeting with Levy, he is approched by his agent who asks
"Well, how did it go? Will you be Spurs next manager?"
Slot replies "I'd rather shit in my hands and clap"

Is it possible to change our teams name? I'm thinking Shitshow FC!

I wonder if the jig is up for levy and managers are now asking for assurances of backing and control in writing. Given they know without it written into their contracts that he will be giving them Joe Rodon, Djed Spence and new deal Dier instead of the players they actually want. And Levy can't submit to that because it takes away his plaything.

No matter how many times this sort of stuff happens it always kicks you in the teeth. The club is run by a bunch of clowns who have no clue what they are doing on the football side but what's worse is that they BELIEVE they do.

Exactly and slot says there have been no conversations...Default behaviour seems to to be if something fails it's always Levy's fault. Getting boring, could well be correct but none of it is based on fact
it's not entitlement to realise where you are in the food chain. In the same way many of us are accepting that Harry could go.

What's boring is doing the same dance as last summer, seemingly with no lessons learnt

Its massively underwhelming. He's fine. He's okay. He's decent. He's not the coach we need though is he. We're looking for someone who can reboot us. Someone who can get hold of the club and remake it in an image that will bring the fans together. Amorim is just decent and potentially gettable (although saying that...). If we get Amorim it just feels like we did so because he was there rather than because he was who we'd identified as the exact man we needed for the upcoming project.
Do people remember what a state Sporting were in before he took over? Fans storming the training ground, players having their contracts ripped up. He took a club in absolute chaos, rebuilt morale and took them to the title, while selling his best players to the PL.

Is his style of football my ideal? No, not really. But there’s no doubt he’s a talented coach and inspirational leader.

Why don't we like Amorim? I need a full breakdown of why he's not suitable please?
Whilst he presses high he is still a pragmatic manager who puts a lot of focus on defence. He quite likes a long ball in build ups. Whilst he's not outright defensive he certainly isn't attacking ether. Balanced is the best way to describe him. He isn't a possession heavy side ether and sometimes his team can look very dull and one dimensional especially in attack. He also has a tendency to over rely on certain individuals especially in attack.

No doubt in my mind Amorim is gone in 18 months tops. Nothing to do with his management ability, he just doesn’t play the football nor have the character we need to turn this ship around. Laughable really.

He impressed what can I say more so than other candidates . Let’s watch this space . But right now the club can’t keeping going for multiple targets screams stupidity
I would honestly prefer Potter or Roodgers I am so sick of having more defensive monded players on the pitch than attacking. Losing all faith that this club I have stuck with for 32 years is worth any of my time.

He wouldn’t last a season here. He’s not what we need at all.

from dreams of flowing high intensity 433 to another season of watching calamitous centre backs make up the bulk of the team in 24 hours. Fuck Levy.
Nothings certain with Tottenham . What if I was to say he wanted to sell the big boys to recreate the next team and levy said no ! Unfourtanlty if someone wants to come here it doesn’t mean they will always come . Visions have to align . Levy’s seems to have a different vision to every manager out there currently.
