I had a spell of mild depression a couple of years ago. I had a period where I’d just start crying for no particular reason. A combination of physical health problems and lockdown preventing me from doing the things I enjoy all got a bit much for me. I believe that the real problems brought me down and that this led to a chemical imbalance bringing my mood down and stopping me dealing with the problems.Weak mentality I mean, that has nothing to do with mental health, it's about his attitude and lack of willingness to fight and improve. People who suffer from depression but still turn up and do what they need to do are some of the strongest people on the planet if you ask me.
Time and a course of anti depressants cured my and I’m back to normal.
I don’t think that at any point I was being weak in my mentality or could have fought harder against my mental health issues.
Why do I write this? Well many of us are going to have some mental health challenges in our lives so that it’s good to be open about the problems so people seek help and are not ashamed.
And having had this experience makes me much more empathetic towards others like Dele or Jadon who might be going through.
