I have a degree of sympathy, but mostly I just think this is incredibly shitty.
From speaking to a few family members who support Bournemouth it sounds like he's not been on great terms with the management or some of the players all season because of the contract situation. Hence his poor form this season. Whether that's his fault or not is another debate.

It wouldn't surprise me if his was a mutual decision by him and the club, but the club have dressed it up to make him look like the arsehole.

A bit like Eriksen with us, they got him cheaply because he ran down his contract, so they can’t complain too much. It is a bit shitty to leave in the middle of a relegation fight, but he’s been peripheral this year anyway.

It's only the middle of the relegation fight because of Covid. He wants to move on so I don't see any blame attached to him.

While I can understand not wanting to get injured, he’s let his team-mates down too. Difficult position but he’ll be remembered poorly if they go down.

I'd imagine he couldn't play for them unless he was registered so unless he signs another contract of some sort he doesn't have a choice.

But he is free to sign for another club, as will then be on a free transfer.... But is he allowed to play for another club if he signs?

Not before the new season, the 25 man squads for these last nine games have been sent in and no changes can be made to those.

Werner done and dusted.

Two deals done even before the window has opened.

Targets identified, negotiated and secured. That's how you do business.

I look forward to Hojbjerg coming in Jan.

They are two good signings from Chelsea and expect them to bring in one or two more particularly defensively...

We need to plug our gaps and bring in two or three quality players particularly at full backs and DM.

Rumours in Germany Thiago wont extend with Bayern and is considering to sign for Liverpool.
Oh dear.

Imagine this is just agent sourced for contract negotiations.

Milner is there for another 2 years, Wijnaldum has 1 year. Perhaps they'll sell that roaring success Keita who was going to tear up the league!

Guess they are not too worried about the Keita transfer with all the success on the pitch they have.
