May of been done before but.... If you was to pick an England first 11 from just one prem team, what team? Which players?

Walker (maybe Alnwick)
Naughton, King, Woodgate, O'Hara
Bentley, Jenas, Huddlestone, Lennon
Crouch, Defoe

Can any other "England prem team" beat that?

Not too sure of United's bit part players..but this is pretty good:

Foster
Neville Rio Evans Brown
Carrick Hargreaves (if fit)
Scholes
Rooney Owen Wellbeck

Need 1 more midfielder from the reserves (i don't know them well enough) if you argue Hargreaves is crocked...but either way that is not a bad team base.

Villa don't have an English keeper.

I'd think after us and Utd Sunderland might be next best.

Marshall

Young Davies Dunne Shorey

Milner Sidwell Reo-Coker Young

Heskey Agbonlahor

That's without including Delph and Downing among others. I still reckon ours could take theirs though.

Shitting hell, of course he is. I blame posting before my morning coffee.

Move Luke Young to centre back and stick Stephen Warnock in at right back

Villa do, they have some guy called Andy Marshall

Andy Marshall's illegitimate
He aint got no birth certificate
He's got AIDS and can't get rid of it
Poor old Andy Marshall....

Terraces of Carrow road on the regular..

Andy Marshall looked like he had wicked potential, didn't fulfil it, left Norwich for Ipswich (Sol Campbell style - free to arch rivals), had spells at Millwall and Coventry, before joining Villa. Decent Championship keeper, not good enough for the prem though.

Can't we play Cudicini in goal? It's a vague memory I have. Still think ours is the best.

Do Spurs the best English XI in premiership?

JUst sitting here listening to the audio of Everton game thinking if we put out our best English XI, say
Button
Naughton-King-Woodgate-Dawson
Bentley-Jenas-Huddlestone-Lennon
Crouch-Defoe
is that the best English XI in the prem?

only other clubs that come to mind are Man utd and Villa.

Alright, keeper looks inexperienced, one of the CBs will have to play LB adn either Lennon or Bentley would have to play on the left but all in all, ain't bad is it?
Plus could cheat a little and get Cudicini in goal as he qualifies for England apparently, right?

Anyway, what do you think?

City and Chelsea up there.
Manu as well - Off the top of my head - Foster, Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, Scholes, Carrick, Hargreaves, Rooney, Owen - Chip in with youngsters like Welbeck, I am sure they could find a credible English 11.
