unless Walker-Peters steps up into Naughton's cover role.....

I like this idea. So if Kyle Walker is injured we use Kyle Walker-Peters.

Can we get a Sandro Peters, a Ledley King-Peters, a Gareth Bale-Peters and a Luca Modric-Peters too?

Whilst at it we should probably get a Martin Peters-Peters as well.

Naughton has proved that given a run of games he is a fully capable right-back and I would happily keep him as a back up, but I think I'd rather be kicked in the balls half a dozen times than see him play left back, he clearly cannot play there at all. Yes Naughton cocked up against Southampton twice, but unfortunately it happens and thankfully it didn't cost us the game in that case (thank you Chris & Gylfi).

Naughton is older than Walker I believe, so he maybe getting to the point that he wants to be the no1 RB at a club. You wouldn't blame him for that. As a back up he is more than capable.

If Naughton was to go, then we might need two LBs (Rose would be better used as a winger IMO or at the very least as cover) and a RB unless Walker-Peters steps up into Naughton's cover role.

I think Rose as a winger would be a waste of a position again, if we are crying out to keep a home grown player then Rodriguez at Southampton would fit the bill better, Rose lacks brainpower, and his poor performances coupled with the number of interviews stating how he wanted a 1st team place has been disappointing.
