It was a dire performance all over the field. I'm merely suggesting a viable option. We couldn't break them down, our movement was awful and so a good target man like Ade would have introduced a new dynamic.Fuck me. Any excuse to have a moan. Even your own opinion doesn't get in the way of a good ol whinge. Definite talks between yourself required.

So suck it!
They had the better chances IMO. Carved us open at will. We're just lucky that Isa couldn't hit a barn door.I don't know about not being able to break them down. We scored fairly early, then Lennon went through one on one. Defoe had a couple of chances when he should've scored but didn't strike it properly and then later scored. It could've been 4 or 5, but our main problem was defence - that could've been 4 or 5 as well.

No offence but the op just typifies the general bi polar nature of SC and football fans in general.
explainIn light of your previous comments, and the quoted response above, are you admitting that it was a bit bi polar and / or do you at least recognise the irony of your statements?
I always find AVB's sub management baffling.
AVB is better defensively than Redknapp but worse offensively.
Simple statement but true.
Personnel has changed too. We're not carrying Modric and VDV without the ball but we've also lost their individuality with the ball.
Whats this? Bipolarity on SC? I'm astonished. No, no, i'm not surprised. Actually, no, i'm astonished. No, no.......
May be AVB would be better in the accounts department thenI would imagine there's probably more to it than meets the eye.
AVB seems to be a 'modern sports coach' and as such uses statistical and medical analysis to assess his own squad's strengths, and his opponent's weaknesses. He'll probably also plan 3 or 4 weeks in advance for up-coming matches, which will take his own players' fitness levels into account.
What this means is that he'll probably draw up a list of contingencies for every match using the data-set above, and act on them depending on how the match pans-out.
Since he's sticking to raw data rather than gut instinct, substitutions will sometimes look counter-intuitive, even though the 'data' supports the decision.
I could be wrong, but that's the way I see it.
I've never jerked any knees!@dynamoSpurs do you not have any response to @Archibald&Crooks bringing up your past knee jerking?
I've never jerked any knees!
Didn't say he was a bad target man or poor in the air, did I?So you are criticising AVB for not bringing on a striker that according to you is "REALLY, REAAAALLLY bad at football" and "has no first touch, no shot, poor pace and 0 vision for a pass..."
Your logic baffles me.
