Admittedly, it's not the world's greatest rooster impression, but it's good enough for him to have been nicknamed 'Il gallo' (aka the Rooster).

I mean think about it. We'll loan your best striker for a year and then potentially buy him for 50m a year later. It's a terrible proposal for Torino.

So either we've offered it to scare Napoli, knowing full well it'd be rejected but at least Napoli realise we are looking elsewhere.

Not heard anyone mention this guy since 2018. No idea what he’s like these days but I’m starting to feel if there’s an ounce of truth in this we’re getting a bit desperate in our targets. A loan and option doesn’t sound like he’s someone who’d be toward top of our list.

With it seeming increasingly likely that Ndombele is staying I can’t get away from thinking what I initially was, that his sale was funding a striker and his replacement. Without that sale it leaves us zilch and highly likely either a loan or a very cheap Striker. Hence Deeney.

Another fantastic player. I suggested him as a preferred target a while ago, he reminds me of dzeko with pace. I didn't realize that he was actually in his mid 20s til recently. And like you said, Mendes, Benfica signed an expensive striker. Have no clue about the source, I'll take your word for it.

I cross-referenced with a few aggregators including Sport Witness, who are quoted as saying they deserve respect. Also, while not being perfect, they seem to break a good amount of developing stories coming out of Portugal.

I was at first confusing them with RTP (who are extremely reliable), but these guys aren't terrible either.

I’ve got the feeling a striker signing may be at a critical stage and/or close to being completed. ITK’s seem confident and there’s been a frenzy of different strikers linked to the club over the last few days. It oozes of trying to put people off the scent and implying we’re still nowhere near signing someone when in reality we’ve got a prized asset lined up.

Sure, but the strange thing is I actually think that this is more likely than Belotti and Milik, who are both starters for club and important national team players who have more to risk by joining us and not starting.

He is a beast physically, presses well, works extremely hard. Like a younger Diego Costa who isn't quite as much of a...

Can play as a target man / solo up top or in a partnership with Kane. Good player, been the standout at a crap team for a long time now. Players from clubs like that don't usually get regular callups into the Italian NT. 40-50M seems a bit much but he'd be a quality signing, would be very happy with that.

I don't know much about him other than he was a beast for me on my Befica FM career this season but so was Gedson
