Son 2022/23 was rubbish and he doesn’t look any better this season either
Says who? I can almost guarantee Brighton sign him on a perm or with option then what?we didn't f'ing lose him.. we backed out clearly

Yep this is itI'm not upset we aren't getting him. I'm upset that yet again the transfer business is as always, after a good start, a mess.
This wasn't a miss? The info seems solid, then we got outbid last minute by Brighton. Fab even mentions our deal falling through last minute. People not liking the outcome doesn't make the info bad.Appreciate all the info for what it is. Good intentions etc etc.
Salt and all that.
But I don't think we've had a summer where the ITK has been so 'miss' that 'hit'.
Edit“We Tried?”
New Club Motto
He’s definitely clear of Richy, perisic and Solomon though ain’t he.He's not better than Son.
Why isn’t our new DofF doing the negotiations… oh wait…This was done and agreed. WLB was spot on. Daniel Levy the chief master negotiator outdone himself. Medicals was tomorrow.
I don’t agree. I think most players would still rather come to us for many reasons.Brighton can offer Europa League football this season. We can't. We can't even offer cup football now till January.
If it was a straight loan then Brighton would probably be more attractive to Fati as he gets to play in Europe.
Get your, ‘Have some self respect’.The situation is hilarious, but are any of you actually mad that we're not going to be developing Barcelona's player for them?
Have some self-respect. Without an option this deal should never have been getting done.
No it's not but one of the more prominent lines all day is that Barca were only interested in a straight loan because they wanted to maintain control of the player so it feels unlikely that they'd relinquish that in the first place.A theory: we had a deal that had something like an option in it. Brighton said, how about a straight loan. Barca said “oh yeah that’d work great, cheers” and binned us off.
Not beyond the realms is it.
Reserving judgement until the details of this deal are released. This was done and agreed. WLB was spot on. Daniel Levy the chief master negotiator outdone himself. Medicals was tomorrow.
Well they did just sell there best player for a 100m. How can we compete with that. Least we still have our talisman....Glad we upgraded the stadium to compete and be gazumped by Brighton
He was probably the pilot that flew Fati to BrightonGeorge bannidter did know something after all
Let’s also not forget the Raya debacle.Says who? I can almost guarantee Brighton sign him on a perm or with option then what?
NGL I do like that DL is getting burned this window. Years of being a **** negotiator finally coming back to haunt him. This was done and agreed. WLB was spot on. Daniel Levy the chief master negotiator outdone himself. Medicals was tomorrow.
