I met this guy in Mauritius - don't like him...full of himself...perhaps he has the right cause he did come fantastic things but Spurs don't need him now....

Did you meet him there? What was your impression of him? I have met him as well, and I talked to him. He seemed to be a nice guy. He answered all my questions and used his time.

One thing does concern me since we ditched the DOF system. We had actually started doing what the likes of Arsenal and ManU do, which is pick up some really talented young players (Lennon, Bale, Hudd, Taraabt, GDS, Bostock, Perratt, Ekotto, Kaboul, Dervitt to name but a few), we had adopted a policy that has born fruit. They don't all work out, but that's the same for Arse and ManU as well.

Since Redknapp came in we don't seem to be pursuing the same kind of youth development/procurement policy that fell under the remit of the DOF that has seen us develop some of our best players for peanuts.

Under Arnesen and Comolli these type of signings were relatively common but I can't remember one since Redknapp arrived.

Well there's Sandro and the Kyles; but there is also the point that we needed regeneration of youth when those two were in charge and when Redknapp came in we needed few but important established players. We signed a hell of lot of young players under Arnesen- many of whom amounted to zilch.

The best signings Arnesen did was for Chelsea, with the likes of Lassana Diarra (his first Chelsea signing) and Kalou. I guess he also was involved in bringning in John Obi Mikel from Man Utd.

Don't want him back, aside from the purchases under his reign of established players the players he personally scouted were disasters, best player he discovered was Ziegler who after a few decent games ended up at Wigan

If he had found us a couple of stars I would say have him back but he didn't
