Audi Cup 2015

According to Bild Tottenham will participate in the Audi Cup along with Real Madrid, Inter Milan & Bayern Munich.

On the positive side, if this is true, we will be playing CL teams which is nice, considering it will be 5 years without CL football.

On the negative side, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich would embarrass us.

But I would fucking love it if we beat Madrid. Would be absolutely hilarious.

Edit- The Madrid and Bayern fans are treating it as if it is confirmed. Here's a link to the Wiki page of the 2013 edition to see the format. If we are in this cup, we are guaranteed to play either Bayern or Madrid.

I think his problem is that Levy promised a light pre-season. Looks like its going to be the busiest one yet.

Not really. 12/13 the first team played 6, 7 in 13/14, this season they played 5 (mostly on tour). Next season there's currently 3 lined up (v Sydney is May 30th so that's still this season), 2 of which are these ones.

You do realise London to Germany is less than 2 hours away by flight. Not exactly the travelling and jetlag to cripple a squad

Pochettino must learn how to speak to Levy, which must be hard given Pochettino's terrible English skills. If you specifically ask "not to go on a long term long haul tour far away in preseason", you will be granted that wish and assigned "several short term long and short haul mini tours, and tours before the pre season in stead".

We're playing one match in America. And a two-day tournament in Germany, which is only a couple of hours away.

That's nothing. And what manager would turn down the opportunity to play 2 of the biggest clubs in world football?

Every season, we play teams like Stevenage etc... with the odd game at the end against the likes of Shalke.

But a chance to play the likes of Bayern and Real as a warm up. Yes please! There's no point spending all summer preparing a team if you have no idea how they stack up to the best of them.
